You guys think one day is realistic? I came across this mod while looking for something realistic that would at least double or triple the vanilla times. Enemies and most especially loot don't grow on trees. Even a month would be optimistic, but a day??
Double, or triple respawn times aren't realistic either! It is realistic to have baddies moving in to an unoccupied area within 1-2 weeks. I agree that after one day is a bit much. However, within a few days is plausible.
Well, it was a rhetorical question. But sure, maybe on the odd occasion a neighbouring group's been eyeing a place but fear the cost of fighting for it, and then move in after you clear it. But that's not gonna happen most of the time and even when it does they're gonna be cautious (after all, if they weren't strong enough to take it themselves they'd sure as hell now fear the guy who just did the job might soon return). Yes, maybe a few braver desperates still tentatively close in after a few days, but most wouldn't - and it's simply not plausible that it'd happen every time like in this mod. And they certainly wouldn't repopulate all the loot that quick either. But note I'm not saying such a mod is bad - hey you don't want to wait, cool - it's just the excuse for its logic is def not more realistic.
Works well :) Just a small problem, it seems like enemies outside won't respawn? I was using "Quicker Cell Respawn" before and try to farm the Museum of Freedom. It will spam the enemies outside of the museum and inside of the museum. but that mod need 60 hours to respawn when I switch to this mode the item outside does respawn, but the enemies won't?
Hello! All I can say is that it works but I haven't played any of these games in so long that I don't exactly remember how the engine handles that. I could be completely wrong but in Skyrim, I made the same thing and if I just travel around for a day or two (I don't even remember what I set it to, just woke up and don't wanna read LMAO), and am away from the area, it respawns items and enemies. Again, could be wrong and google isn't showing anything. You could wait a day or two in Diamond City and just go to the museum and test. I'd appreciate that, if you would. :) Thanks for commenting. Edit: I forgot to mention that *some* enemies are unique and don't respawn but the museum has normal enemies in it, I think(?) that SHOULD respawn.
Wow thanks for the quick reply :) I tested it and turns our it because I stay too close to the area, I sleep in the red rocket so the enemy outside of the museum did not respawn, and it seems like the museum itself no matter of the distance will respawn enemy and loot. When I go back to sanctuary hills and sleep in there for 1 day and come back, the enemy spawns again.
EDIT: and it's not because of switching mods, turns out it just me not far enough from the cell to respawn
All good, stuff like that happened plenty of times to me too. lol Great to hear that it's working now. I wasn't quite sure anymore, so thanks for confirming that. Have fun!
We recommend using this mod if you manually modify your FO4.
The other respawn mods on Nexus are either:
a) outdated, or b) for mod manager users only.
This is just a simple .esp and is very easy to use. If for some reason your Fallout 4 start menu's built-in mod manager disables this mod's .esp after restarting your computer, Alex suggests renaming the .esp. We had this problem, but Alex gave us a new .esp which turned out to be nothing more than a renamed copy of the old .esp. For some odd reason, the renamed version works just fine!
Changing the spawn rate through an esp works in survival, but not in the same way. Survival has a multiplier up to 5x the regular respawn rate. So to make something respawn in 3 days you would have to set it through the esp to respawn around 14 hours.
To change the survival multiplier, you have to edit the hardcore manager script.

what happened?
if it disables your mods, well then thats an isue. this is an esp after all
"Now enemies and containers respawn in 48, 24, 12, 6 and even 1 hour after being massacred and looted!"
Works in survival.
