   Did you make this or borrow it from someone? I know there is a remington chainsaw tutorial series on youtube but this looks less detailed. Any details on that?

      No I did this myself. I wanted to try something new and I was unaware of the tutorial. I just used some picture references of a homelite XL.

   i'm no modder but even i know the best way to utilize this would be to make it a powerfist.

      Yeah, definitely should be based on the ripper, and it probably wouldn't be hard for someone that knows how to make weapons. I imagine the most difficult things would be the chain and making it replace the hand.
      
      Edit: Actually now that I think about it I know why MasterofMundus said it should be a powerfist. That might make it easier to replace the hand. It would probably need to be a hybrid of the two.
