Any thoughts of a stand alone version? I'm aware of the stand alone patch by geicorules but something isn't connecting in my head and no matter how many times I read the instructions to make it work, I'm not understanding it.

Fixed the invisible Bottle, saw in MO nif review that the Bottle had no Mesh visible.
Maybe not perfect but it does it's Job for me, waiting for an answer of the Modder.

A transparency fix for the Empty bottle would be nice, unfortunately I don't think there is one.

That’s happened to me before the mod it’s not a mod problem it’s a problem with the empty bottle itself

Here's an example if anyone is still interested - pip light on versus off. The pint glasses were always similarly damn near invisible for me in vanilla, though I don't recall the rocket bottle empties being this way. Doesn't matter that much, I'm sticking with the classic mod., the rockets can get stuffed.

Interesting. If you look closely you can still see the bottle. It's not that it is invisible, just that it blends in very well due to its transparency. You are correct in saying that the vanilla bottles do not have this issue. Perhaps a tweak to the texture to reduce the transparency is all that is needed to fix this issue. I'm going to reinstall this mod and tweak the texture myself to see if I am correct. I'm wondering if it might be better to tweak the texture or the normal map though. I don't have any software to generate normal maps, so I think I just have to go for texture.

EDIT: Aaaahhhh, I took one look at the mod files and realized that the textures actually have no transparency. Transparency is probably handled in the mesh or the materials. I suck at using NIFSkope though :( And I have no idea how to edit materials.

EDIT: The mesh does an emissive light property which is set to a black colour with a transparent alpha value. When hovering over the property the number is represented in hexadecimal, but then when editing it the numbers are represented in floating point notation. The alpha value defaults to C6, so I figured an alpha of E4 might be enough to make an noticeable difference (though my quick estimate for what this value would be in floating point actually ended up being E5) if this is how the transparency of the model is determined, but the model for the full bottle also has this value set to C6 and so I don't know if that will be correct. I will update with whether or not it works. If my guess is correct then there is not much room to increase this value further as the max value is of course FF. Hopefully it makes a noticeable difference. Since it is emissive light, though, I worry that that it will not. I just don't really know much about the NIF model format or how the game engine interprets different properties.

EDIT: Very brief testing (one in-game day in Sanctuary Hills with some bottles dropped in daytime, partially lit, and nighttime lighting) suggests that this solution was successful, but I need to test in more lighting environments to be certain. I might forget to update by the time I can be relatively sure this works, so I figured I should update now.

I always hated the Rocket Bottles of FO4. These Classic Bottles hit the right notes for me. They're nostalgic but also satisfyingly realistic at the same time.

probably a bad question but how do I add this into the game? I've only been using vortex and not sure how to do so manually.

I have a problem where some bottles, like Victory and Wild, in where they will use the textures added by this mod, but still have paper labels and use the old mesh.
Another oddity is that some bottles face different directions than the others (this is somewhat minor, but when displaying them with a mod like Nuka-Cola and Vim Display Racks (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17848) they face different directions while displayed)

Does anyone know if it is compatible with mods that add displays to display the bottles and these little things? :D
