the exact command depends on your load order, but you can type in 'help knife 4' to get the FormID (there's a lot, so look for the AMMO entry), then use additem.
This is pretty hilarious, now it's made me think of other melee weapons would escalate the giggles. Firing Rippers that keep reving while lodged in the target.
inspired by a terrible game ( SR1 was my favorite game before fallout 3) lol but incredible in comparison great job on this mod buddy ill download it now and endorse shortly
it was a quick money grab after THQ was bought out and was pretty much just a joke which was intended but a bad joke if you played the 1st saints row you'd see why i dislike sr4 , sr1 had a great story
SR4 wasn't a 'quick' money grab, games take time to be made, not to mention how it was meant to be a DLC for SR3 at first, only to be revamped into an actual, standalone game ;p I've played them all, Agents of Mayhem included, They're all good games.
it was a quick game that had no real value and the fact you say it was originally meant to be dlc for sr3 doesnt make it better they used all the assets from sr3 (map and cars) and even some of the cars where models from sr1 that where salvaged and remastered they could have still easily made it a dlc for sr3 and charged 20-30 $ for it but nope they knew they'd drain more money from it if they released it as a standalone title which is indeed a money grab the fact sr4 has dlc at all only reinforces the fact that sr4 was a money grab if you think about it clearly and do some research you'll come to the same conclusion that i did oh and agents of chaos was made using a lot of stuff from sr4 because another saints row title wouldn't generate as much money as a game with a new title
and for development time it took them under 15 months to complete sr4 as they already had everything made as they pretty much copy and pasted sr3 most of the time taken up was used for voice actors , advertising and coming up with more scam ideas like the dlc that followed the release of sr4 and another funny thing is all the dlc was already on the game disc/download on consoles at release but where behind a release timer if you look this up it was done on sr3 aswell but just not as bad
the company that made sr4 (deep silver) knew that the franchise was a joke (more than intended) and destined to die so they did everything to suck money out of it and the primary reason sr4 was not a dlc for sr3 was for the fact they bought out THQ before release and continued on making it as a standalone game for the reasons stated above
sr1 was great sr2 pretty good sr3 pushing it with the childish jokes sr4 was the equivalent to a bad 90's spoof movie and had almost as bad acting (mc is a good voice actor though)
man i like talking way to much sometimes lol
sorry TheOnlyEpicWolf i tend to ramble on xD
and apologies to the mod author for veering off so much rather than discussing you're mod
Hold up, did you just say SR1 was better than SR2?
To give credit, it was a good game, but SR1 was a GTA rip-off in a time of many GTA rip-offs. The gameplay was strong for the time and the city was well put together, but the story was abysmal and your character was literally a cardboard cutout, they had a total of 4 lines and little personality.
With SR2 you get an actual story and your character is an actual character, making their own choices and having their own opinions about what to do. It's also the point where the series begins to define its own style; where GTA would go for realism, with regards to story and what you can do, SR chooses to go unrealistic, getting more outlandish with each game.
In my opinion SR2 is far better then SR1, but i hold a love of all SR in my heart. (cause who could forget Bucky, the hotdog suit hitman target.)
ill admit i probably prefer it for nostalgic reasons as i think it was also my first xbox 360 game and i bought 2 copies as 360's liked to abuse discs a lot back then ,
saints row 2 gameplay wise was much better i just preferred the characters in sr1 minus the mc it was just terrible the white mc would sound like sylvester stallone if he had a stroke and a head cold right after and thats being polite
