This mod does not change any of the vanilla game assets and it will not conflict with any other mod. Its safe to install and uninstalled mid game. Empty and disconnect your containers before you uninstall this mod.
Tell me if not working as it should. Don't post stupid comments here (and don't PM me).
Please note: At some mod-added settlements the buildable area is exceeding the settlement location area. So, although you are within the borders of a settlement, the amplifier does not recognize that. In such case move your container closer to the settlement workbench and then install the amplifier. Once the amplifier is installed, you can move the container back to the original place.
I moved in a new player home, which is no settlement. So, I had to make a patch to remove the restrictions from the amplifier. BE AWARE THAT WITH THE PATCH THE AMPLIFIER CAN BE INSTALLED TO ANY CONTAINER IN THE COMMONWEALTH. USE WITH CAUTION !
The update will take effect for new connected containers. So, when you update make sure to reconnect your old containers (take the pulser out, close the container, open and put the pulser back in the container).
it works with normal containers, but it is not meant to be used with the workbench itself right? I tried to empty it and use the amplifier first but didnt work. I use auto-loot that delivers everything to the workbench that I wanted to access remotely anywhere :)
You can use this to connect factory lines via Conveyor Storage to Provisioner Supply Containers, to other factory lines or just about any other container you want, all across the map if you so desire. This mod is absolute dope!
Hey, do you know if you could have a factory in one settlement that puts things into a Conveyor Storage (into which you put the beacon from this mod) and then have a container in another settlement (also with beacon) BUT with a vacuum hopper connected to it? My guess is the vacuum hopper will just pull the beacon out of the second container and therefore break the link. What I'm looking for is a setup that lets you stream the output of one factory in one settlement into the input of another factory in another settlement. wondering if this mod will allow for that.
Hello, I'm trying your mod since few days and for the moment, all seems OK ( i use ESL version and the patch MoreContainers). Effectively, some modded containers need the amplifier to be connected : thx for that ! My question is : do you know if settlers can loot weapons and armors from these connected container ? to equip themselves... Thx for your mod !
Hello, Fist, until now, i have no major prob with your mod. The only thing i have is when i try to connect a new container, the connection to this one can take a while ( sometimes several minutes, or less if i go out of zone...). But my comment is just to inform about the Valdacil's Item Sorting VIS patch that you notify (included in the latest version of Radrose Usability Enhancements). It has an ESP master file and as i choose the ESL file, Wrye Bash or Xedit says this patch has missing master file. I know this is not your mod but this is just for player notification ... i'll writing the same notification to Radrose Usability Enhancements comments. Good job and thx.
I have really enjoyed using this mod. Unfortunately I must have loaded a mod that shuts it down. I can use my old containers but I cannot make new ones. I tried to disable possible mods but nothing worked. Do you have any suggestions?
That's what I did, after all I can read descriptions. I tried every connector, with and without the amplifier. I get the message that I should close the container for it to be connected, but afterwards the only thing in the container is the connector. First I thought that maybe it just doesn't work with the contraptions-container, but it didn't work with ANY container that I can build in my settlements, modded or vanilla.
"... for it to be connected, but afterwards the only thing in the container is the connector ..." means this container is connected. Now, leave the pulser untouched and store your stuff in this container. And, it will be shared with any other container also connected through a pulser with THE SAME frequency.
It is that simple and it will work with any container!
Like I said, that's what I've been doing, it just doesn't work.
EDIT: I uninstalled the ESL version and reinstalled the ESP version on a clean save afterwards. Not doing anything different from before, but now it somehow works :/ I didn't even change it's place in the loadorder or installed/uninstalled other mods.
EDIT2: Ok, the thing that I originally wanted to do still doesn't work, even though the mod itself works fine now. Seems there's no helping it.
Very clever mod I gladly endorse. Everything works as intended, no fancy scripts that usually induce performance issues. Less is more.
I confess : I did extensive tests in order to break the mod (my game is almost vanilla).
I failed... except this WARNING : don't ask your companion to loot the pulser from the container, this will result in weird things ! ie : impossible to close the share menu, broken container (could be repaired by storing it in the workshop), loosing ALL connections with the master container... Pulser can then be retrieved in the companion's inventory. Not an issue, you just have to be careful.

Thanks for the update !
For a pack rat (like me), this mod is a must-have.
