I know its been like a year since the last comment but I just wanted to say I had a weird bug where the diner itself was missing, like the whole building was gone just trudy and a bunch of floating objects...well this mod actually managed to fix that somehow, not to mention now it looks even better than it did in the vanilla game so big thanks!
not sure if you still keep tabs on this Ceano but I see the sign is illuminated, does your mod do this? or is it another mod that you have that lights the neon lights on the outside of the diner? Plan on DL this when i get home tonight.
Does the first aid kit on the counter respawn its contents? I'm looking to add a Drumlin Diner mod, but I'd also like to add a guard via the Create Followers mod and the first aid kit would be a perfect place to put the follower beacon (the follower stays close to their beacon). Maybe no big deal, as I could also plant it on Trudy via console.
Edit: NVM, tested in game and it indeed respawns - no matter, I decided against a guard and instead built some (wireless) turrets at Starlight Drive-In and was able to put 'em on top of the diner using Place Anywhere's "toggle workshop timeout" feature. I really like this mod (endorsed, of course). Was looking for something that blends really well into the base game and this is just perfect. Really close to vanilla but with everything you'd expect to see if Trudy & son actually lived there and ran a trading post.
Great mod! I think it'd be nice if you added some defense, maybe a guard or turret? I mean, the beds are out in the open and any raiders can strike, kill, and loot. Just a suggestion, you don't have to change a thing
No i might add a guard dog but no turrets or so, there is already a Drumlin Diner mod that adds turrets and other stuff...i want to get as Close to vanilla as possible but make it more like a trading post like it is supposed to be.
I like your mod. Endorsed. However, it should be cleaned with FO4Edit. It's an automated process so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. I cleaned it for myself and here is the FO4Edit report:
Drumlin Diner.esp IF CHECKSUM("Drumlin Diner.esp", 2064A911) DIRTY: 1 ITM, 26 UDR records. Needs FO4Edit cleaning: "http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php?title=TES4Edit_Cleaning_Guide"
Translation: 1 unintentional edit, i.e., something was marked as edited even though it's in the exact position it was originally in the base game. 26 items from the base game were deleted rather than the safer method of simply hiding them below ground. FO4Edit fixed the problems without issue.
'cant open archive' error.. shame, cause I want to check if this works with the Bounty Hunters mod, they use DD as their base so would be nice to grab a snack after dealing with them..
Thanks man, the optional file works great, maybe something went wrong with the first file during the upload or i just have to make some updates. Thanks again

Ya know... robbing Trashcan Carla
And I killed Trudy and her junkie son.... does this have any adverse effects on this mod?

This is not a settlement so i will keep it as in vanilla game.
