1. affected with or suffering from distress. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. (of real estate) foreclosed and offered for sale. 4. (of furniture) purposely blemished or marred so as to give an antique appearance. 5. (of fabric) made or processed to appear faded or wrinkled, as if from long, steady use: Our best-selling jeans are the ones in distressed denim.
Your words were heard heretic, but by definition distressed speaks to damage of a given product/item, including but not limited to damage from oxidation of the steel.
While it was pronounced thusly that I would delete commentary like this, I will convey to the congregation that I thought it most useful to string your comment's corpse up above the palisade. This is particularly irksome as you sought to critique a meal you did not partake in. Begone.
Carnage, I was on the fence about this mod and whether it would fit the load order I was building.
Then, I read this exchange up on the stickies. That's it, I'm sold!
Blessed Be, Brother, for the work that has gone into this telling edifice of the Old World. May Atom's Glow accompany it into new life across the land! Blessed Be! Blessed Be!
It's a beautiful weapon superbly retextured. Thanks for sharing this.
On a side note, I like the comments you mention about 200 years of neglect. It makes me wish there were two types of rippers, one for people perhaps like Arland Glass who were toy makers before the war and still have the skill and desire for perfection. I'd love to see Arland Glass with a shiny, well-maintained ripper and raiders with rippers which match the power armor they wear (which is rusty).
Approximately 1 in 100 of my settlers spawn with rippers. Now they'll spawn with rusty rippers
That's not a bad idea, and it is easily possible. Heck, could even further develop the skin to make it so that you can switch out. I know Skibbada does that with his weapons!

Thanks for the picture by the way!
Looks amazing!
Also, I'm pretty amazed you got dpillari to respond. He's been off the grid for a bit. Hope he's okay.
