Mod not working in April 2024. Installs fine in Vortex. When I check the mod entry in the in-game options it says that "This mod cannot be installed because it depends on files that are not present".
Nicely done! Forgot how lame basegame FO4 was about money until I tried to unload a giant carryhaul of armor onto Myrna, and she literally had only 279 caps on her. Same with Arturo. Even Trashcan Carla had more cash on her than that. What was Bethesda thinking, seriously? The biggest vendors in Diamond City are perenially broke?
instead of downloading this mod, open console with "~" key, click on the merchant, and type "additem f [however many caps you want]" without quotes and brackets
Then what do you do with all the loot you've collected? Drop it on the ground or sell it for zero caps? I could see Merchants in the fortified walled areas like Good Neighbor and Diamond City having more caps then the Caravan Traders, and Wastelanders & Scavengers having a nominal amount to trade or barter.
Even with that perk that lets you invest 500 caps isn't nearly enough especially if you're like me and wanna be efficient and have Uncapped Settlement Surplus installed. Thanks a bunch for a mod that honestly should've been a feature in the base game.
Considering how highly priced their stuff is, I would absolutely expect them to have several thousand caps lying around, especially considering the fact that you can persuade them to give you like 400 caps during the work they give you, multiple times.
Like, doesn't Moe give you 200 or 400 caps for every baseball collectible you give him? Where does he pull that out from if his shop says he only has like 200? It doesn't make any sense at all and I'm tired of having stuff I can't just sell.
I really enjoy your mod, it makes it much easier to sell stuff off. Thanks!
Does anyone know why my bashed patch consistently fails to pick up the new numbers, and instead reverts them to zero? It's easy to fix, takes literally less than a minute at this point, but is there some sort of tag that needs to be added to the .esp so Wrye will know it's supposed to carry the values forward?
Thanks for suggesting this, @Neydzz. I love this mod & used it a lot during my earlier playthrough years ago. I'll choose Vendor Caps this time as its newer & has MCM functionality. Cheers

If anyone would like a more up-to-date alternative to this mod that is also more customizable, try Vendor Caps. Even works with a bashed patch.
