Accuracy seems to be a total of several factors, and weapons with a high base accuracy will possibly have smaller gain from this mod than e.g. a weapon like the minigun with its high bullet spread. Also shotguns could perhaps benefit greatly from this. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Weapons_Spread
I finally found one out in the wild, a Precise .44 Pistol on a dead Brotherhood soldier. Only one I've found so far and I'm up to nearly level 70 on this character. Standard difficulty.
I like this concept, been looking for something similar to this for a while. Anyway to get this in perk format however? Just an idea not a complaint by any means
Looks like a promising mod. I'll have to give it a try, and if you want I got the free time to do some thorough testing with it to see of AIs (friend, foe, and follower alike) are more accurate with it. I already have thoughts as to how I'd go about doing that. (Kinda wish I had a standard game save now, instead of just going with Survival, but eh, I'll still make do and report back on my findings.)
Yeah, seems to work fine with all sorts of weapons, for both the player and AIs. Might've missed a weapon or two perhaps, but for standard play it should be fine from what I saw.
one could make a 100000% version give it a companion and see if he hits with every shoot. any cance of a compatible version for https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13605/?
Do I need the main file AND the Legendary Modification version of my choice, or do I just need the Legendary Modification version of my choice? Put another way, are the Optional Legendary Modifications versions patches for the main file or do they already include the main file?
There's a mod called Legendary Modification that allows you to add legendary effects at armor and weapon workbenches in game. You might try testing your idea with that mod and see if "Precise" shows up in the "Legendary" list. Then add it to whatever weapon you have and test it.
Precise does not show up in that mod unfortunately. And to be clear, I have tested the legendary effect itself and it does work, I just don't know if it will spawn randomly.
Yeah it won't just show up - you'd have to make a "constructable object" record for the precise legendary mod (that's a big part of what the legendary modification mod does). Wouldn't really be too difficult to do a compatibility patch for in FO4Edit
Ok, I added some sort of compatibility with Legendary Modification. It won't be perfect, but if you download one of the new files it should at least show up in your workbench now.
