Hey @bennzoor, I was wondering if you'd consider bringing this mod over to Bethesda.net for us Xbox users? I love Augmentation by Crimsomrider, but more often than not I RP a male character. If you'd consider this I'm sure I won't be the only one who'll very much appreciate it. I'll be happy to donate for your efforts as well.
Hey there, been a while since I last left a comment. Wanted to know if you ever ended up getting crimsomrider's permission to port your mod over to xbox? Augmentation is already available on the xbox, would be awesome to have it available for male characters.
Also I'm not too sure which one it uses but if you open it with Creation Kit you'll see which one (open the armor addon) then you'll be able to click on another one (slots 55-58). Though if you do change it: 1. Make sure the other is tucked off. It won't automatically tick it off so you dont want an item taking two slots. 2. Make sure you change the armor one as they both reference which slot to use
Is there a male version that DOESN'T include Nick? Because now, no matter what, it shows up on Nick when I only want it for my male character. I tried deleting the ones that apply to Nick, but all it did was make him invisible save for his hands and head :/
I don't get it... DIMA looks fucking creepy. If there is a synth that fits BoS's description of synths as abominations, it's him. Why would someone disfigure their SS or a companion with this ugly stuff is beyond my understanding. Not even to mention that it looks extremely fragile and therefore completely unrealistic/unimmersive for a soldier.
Well, mind you not all of us RP it as a soldier. That said the 50% version you can look at the metal ports as anchor points for power armour, for a tighter fit and thus faster response time from the armour. As for the DiMa look. I personally like it. As I said, not all of us rp our characters as soldiers, and for someone RPing it as a Gen 4, or a tinkering character, or whatever really, this hits the spot. Not to mention giving the upgrades to Nick can be seen as upgrading his memory.
Some of us laugh at the poor fools conned by the BoS and their giant flying raider ship, with their thinly veiled racial supremacy threatening most of the lives left on the planet, and their nonchalant thuggery threatening the rest. Some of us want to play an intelligent character who wants to save the commonwealth with their wit, not subdue and enslave it with a big gun.
It's probably best to just let people play the game the way they want, instead of getting mad at them for not playing it like you.
ArtMurder, no-one's getting mad. When one sees someone do something that is, in the observer's opinion, weird and silly, one doesn't get mad, just surprised. Like "Why?".
And, for the record, I roleplay as 100% paragon and a quite intelligent person (INT 8 ) who never kills anyone who didn't deserve it with their deeds. I like Marcy, I like Preston, I hate Maxson and he's already dead (I use "Face Maxson" mod). I build prospering settlements with heavy defences and spend fortunes equipping settlers with high-end armor reinforced will ballistic weave.
But DIMA is one hell of a creepy synth. And not only in his appearance, but also in his past deeds and "contingency plan"s.
And you can have peaceful intentions all you want, but you can't play this game without fighting. And all these tubes are tremendous weak spots. I myself would happily install some mod that introduces realistic, immersive, safe-to-use and good-looking augmentations, but wandering around looking like a glass porcupine is just crazy, imo.
@durge13, ehhh... I don't know what kind of fridges you have in your country, but in Russia a freezer is a part of the fridge. In some older models freezers were not even accessible without opening a fridge, like first you have to open the door of the fridge, and inside there is another door to the freezer. E.g. https://24.img.avito.st/640x480/1128041524.jpg Plus old cooling systems required people to "unfreeze" fridges from time to time to remove ice from inside the fridge (the main part) because it would accumulate over several months on the internal walls of the fridge near the freezer, so even inside the main part of the fridge there was often a lot of ice.

EDIT: oh, one question, what bodyslot does this use, and is there an option to change it?

Just spawn the gun and shoot and adjust through console commands
This should be it!
