    I think it should be possible to repair the mainframe. Also, the US Army has never been tasked with strategic nuclear deterrence. It did, however, have tactical nuclear weapons in its inventory during the Cold War, which (thankfully) never went hot. Within the US military, only the United States Navy and the United States Air Force have ever been responsible for strategic nuclear deterrence. The site would actually be crewed and maintained by Airmen.

    EDIT: Given the circumstances, the junior officer would most likely not be prosecuted for treason (18 U.S. Code §2381). He or she would actually be court-martialed for failure to obey orders and dereliction of duty as per 10 U.S. Code §892.

      Thankyou for the factual assessment and critique. I appreciated acquiring some more knowledge regarding the functionality and purpose of previous, US Military missile launch facilities.

      I kinda laughed a bit in a good way

      Also coincidentally in the Fallout timeline the Strategic Air Command was never phased out by the time of the Great War (which we know from Fallout 2 and 76) so it's cool to note that that would most likely be one of their facilities/duties. And as abysmal as that game was, I do wish Fallout 76 would've made more reference to them in-game (considering the 3 missile silos) apart from the SAC Vertibots flying around occasionally lol

      Edit: Also funnily enough in regards to your edit, on one of the terminal's in Silo A a soldier mention's they all wanted to court martial their General for dereliction of duty considering the General for Site A, wasted a nuclear keycard by inputting the wrong code and therefore consuming it, making it useless whereas it gets better in regards to he was supposed to have carefully studied the big hard-to-miss instruction wall which told you exactly how to launch them. Which I find quite funny lol

    Ever wanted to know how to script an interior workshop settlement? Yes!

    "If you know your workshop functions and script order..." No. No idea. Do I need to know that sort of thing to make this work?

    In all honestly I actually would like to know that stuff. Would you consider dropping a couple of tutorials onto the Nexus too?

      Hey somethingbrite ,
      If you look into how the workshop scripts are put together within this mod and have some knowledge of creation kit it will come together, there are several tutorials on creating a settlement online by markymint, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1xiN7krLck he is really good at explaining how to do this correctly, then have a look at the scripts in this mod, and you will identify the changes I made to make it work within an interior space. The main issues and differences are related to the settlement beacon scripts. I have not done a tutorial as I completed this mod 2 years ago, so its been a while...

      i dont mean a skyrim dungeon i mean a location similar to vanilla location that has leveled enemys that can be cleared out and stay a enemy location and not turn into a settlement. like having a gunner/bos/prewar soldier/enclave enemy bunker. that is what i mean by dungeon

    looks pretty cool... the huge area lends itself nicely for vault building.. altho for ppl without place everywhere it might be tricky.. maybe the entrance into that room could be made out of vault pieces with snap points so ppl can snap w/e piece of vault they want and build up the room even without place everywhere.
    i use a jetpack ring myself so i could jump down or jetpack up instead of taking the many stairs up and down.. is there a elevator that i missed somewhere ? :p
    otherwise maybe adding one for ppl who dont use cheaty jetpack rings would be welcome thing

    ty for making this, had fun exploring this and doing some initial building.. looking forward to youre presidential companion thing

      Hi CoolPro, yes they can it functions as a normal settlement, I also have another Mod called Presidents Bunker which is a player and companion only settlement, I will be uploading that soon, thats near Sanctuary
