Love both concept and execution. Even though I have yet to get the message about the synths ( though they are there and I killed  a couple already) I will already endorse.

no slowdown issues, I mean I can feel my rig working harder due to some small slowdown (from 110 elsewhere on Island down to 30 fps when looking at hotel form outside inside back up to 60fps) but no playability issues at all
I do run my graphics in 4k with Luxors HD Pack.

When this mod came out my rig would have been considered over-the -top fast though, almost outside the realm of consumer grade (now its merely ho-hum), so I'd wager in 2017 this mod would bring some of the best rigs of their day to their knees on 4k.
i9 10900KF slightly overclocked, 64GB RAM, RTX 4070, SSD (but an earlier standard not the new standard)

    PS: Nicest Playerhome ever.
PS2: I found myelf adding a couple more power turrets and i put the agriculture on protected locations close to my guards so the farmgirls could be safe and protected by my troops.

    Hello Mad!

I have to say, I installed this Hotel with the intention of going to the island and having to do all of the transfer stuff, or set up a new blue print.  Landed on the island and to my Suprise, everything was there!  I don't know what sort of witchcraft this is, but I like it.

I immediately went around the island and started the chore of investigating.  Saw two settlers immediately near the guns on the dock, standing guard, looking out for the damn Mirelurks we all hate.  Made my way towards the hotel and due to my OCD with cleanliness, I started the task of cleaning it up a bit, removing some of the old, sunken boats, clearing out the old, overgrown vines, etc, powering up the place.

THEN, Then, I heard it.  SYNTHS HAD TAKEN OVER THE HOTEL!  I armed myself and went on the hunt.  Looking for the key was a problem, but I was willing to bet some unlucky soul left one behind, and they did!  The I cleansed the place of the Synths that were in the hotel and wound up locked in a basement somewhere (didn't have the key at that point) where the last two robots were hiding out.  Not a biggie, just recalled to the starting point and went back in to further investigate.

Very well done.  The lay out is interesting, the rooms are all done nicely and just to the point where I want to flesh out this place.  It's made me want to do the whole island now, not just the hotel, but all the surrounding stuff.  With the Build your own Beach mod, this should turn out great.  :)

I have no performance issues with the mod installed on the island at all.  However, I am running a beefy rig (SSDs, I7 8700, 64G Ram and a 3080).  Even loading into the island for the first time wasn't an issue (I did notice a BIT of a slowdown, but nothing out of the ordinary for FO4).  You did this as an experiment, my answer to that is YES, MORE of these types of places!  Maybe even more fleshed out!  I'll be happy to post screens of the clean up and improvements I make to the island as i go if you are interested.

Keep up the great work and thank you!!

Ahw, thank you Utilday! I LOVE the little story of your playthrough! And truly happy you're enjoying it!

Learned a lot from this bad boy, I started a redux on it for the less beefy PC's, but glad to hear modern day ones even have no issues with it ... So now I know I can go truly overboard with everything

Castle is in the making too at this moment, the latest builds are already bigger then this one on their own ... So hope to read more stories soon

I know this mod hasn't been updated since 2017, but has anyone found a way to be able to get the building to work with Sim Settlements or Sim Settlements 2?

So far the only way I see to get the interior plots in the building is to use Scrap Everything and then tear down parts and replace them with other structure parts. Yet that leaves the building looking disconnected and in pieces.

Besides that, the mod is great.

I'm personally not familiar with SS1 or SS2 well enough to have an answer for you. I apologize for that. But I promise you, even with the best of rigs, you're not going to want hundreds more scripts firing off in this place. Especially not as complex as Sim Settlements. That's just bad news waiting to happen. But I'm glad I read this. Gives me something new to investigate.

Hi, I'm trying to figure out what you mean by central column. Are you talking about the place where the workshop is, or a place in the hotel itself?

    Edit: nvm xD

you litteraly made me dream about good looking settlement without being too pristine, and for this one i wonder if you plan to "grow" this project and fully modifies the island, either do you think a bridge to spectacle island from warwick will work with your soon to be warwick project? and also mods that repair the island vanilla house or add more houses on different part of spectacle.

And yeah i have a pain to found your ID Card and still didn't found some of them -_-

hehe, thank you good sir! again very nice to heat that ...

And erm ... yes .... It's like the universe is sending out some messages to everybody in my regard, you're the second one to hit me with a question on a 'forgotten' one ... I'm actually optimising my second built ever, the slogotel ... abandoned due to lag, but learned a lot in a year ... Felt like patching it up and optimise, will hit all systems soon; and of course planning on doing that with this one as well so it's actually playable when you look at it from a far ...

But then ... yes ... since the estates is going wild on PS with 138.000 dwlds and over 2100 5stars, I'm going to make an estates there as well ... beach houses in my known style, some docks, a marketplace ... completely think it over, changing shape of island and all ... So, that will be a cool one as well I hope ...

hehehe ... there's one by the pool on the bar, and one on the front desk ... although that last one has the tendency to jump of the table due to the weird hitbox of that type of counter ... Will be fixed as well when I do that update ...

Those work differently indeed ... This sounds like an activator problem ... Trying this will very likely fix it:

First fasttravel to the castle or warwick. save, quit and onload/reload the mod again in your loadorder (double click it); load your save and swim back to the island ... That way you force all activators/buttons/ ... to reset; and hopefully your buttons will do their thing ...

Let me know if it worked!
