This is better if you only want rain, I can say true storms is very exaggerated.

If you go to TS description page and look under his compatibility section, it's covered there.

ramccoid, sigh, decision on what fxraindrops-files to run, yours, fadingsignal's or SP's (included in his latest WET version) becomes harder steadily
They all are fine, qestion of user's taste again.
The more it was great idea, that you have provided us with "rain" and "ripples" in two optional files

There's nothing wrong with plenty of choice.

True Storms 1.4 clashes with FO4 Rain on just one file - fxraindrops_d.dds. As long as you can ensure that FO4 Rain version of this file is used in the game instead of True Storms version, both mods should work fine, in theory. I do not know which one has more priority - loose files (FO4 Rain) or BA2 archives (True Storms).

True Storms remaps the path for the rain textures so FO4 Rain won't show up correctly in True Storms unless it's patched. True Storms also uses a RAIN LIGHT texture that has to be created.

I created my own patch (and corresponding RAIN LIGHT texture) and it looks much better over True Storm's giant rain blobs. I'd post it but the permissions for this mod are not clear and ramccoid has passed away so I can't get permission from the author directly.

I'm using this to replicate sleet, as an easy texture-replacer way of having wintery precipitation without installing a winter weather mod. Look at the 4th pic (the top & bottom comparison one) and you'll see what I mean. Your rain looks like sleet - at least here in Olde England.
    Cheers. Endorsed.

It doesn't uninstall after deleting mod. I still get the same heaving rain after uninstalling.

Where in the fucking world do you live that causes rain to be chunky and to fall like this? Because it needs nuked.

Hahaha this killed me because I lived in tropical weather all my life. The first time I went to Texas for BMT I thought the raindrops were HUGE.

How do I know whether to download the x512, x1024 or the x2048 version?

How good is your computer ?
2k is the most typical for mid to high end PCs.
1k for mid to low end PCs and 512 for very low end PCs.

So... I can't see rain ever since I upgraded to v4. I can hear it, I can see ripples on water, but the raindrops themselves aren't there. I have no other weather mods installed. Any ideas?

I had the same problem. I did a manual install and the rain is fixed.
Some textures and sounds don't link properly when using Nexus Mod Manager.
