I plan to play the game on Hard. Thats basicaly the normal, but FO4 only can offer this. I don't want it harder, because I don't see the point of the opponents taking me out with a few shots, and when I shoot them with the same weapon, but they swallow the lead like it's candy. Getting out of the vault is child's play, even on H level. There is nothing difficult about it. However, this mod will probably make my job more difficult. But mostly I expect XP, because basically I can reach level 2 when I clear Sanctuary Hill with Codsworth. But now maybe level 3 will be there. It doesn't seem like much, but I'd like to have certain perks as soon as possible. Who knows? So I'll give it a try. Thanks!
Great mod! I cleared it with many tries, but I did it. Nice new enemies&items you added there. I have one request though: Can you make a esp. file so we don't have to use the save? If you code it in, we would get the whole "hardcore" vault 111 even if we start a new fresh game.
Also bobby pins are just a pain in the butt, can you change the individual pins into pin boxes? thx
I'm glad you liked it! There is no way to change this to an .esp now since I made the changes in-game using the console. Once the GECK is released I'll make a proper version.
I might have time to redo it later but honestly I'm having too much fun playing the game and checking out other mods to rework this one right now.
After about half an hour of searching for a way to open the first locked door I have given up. I searched every conceivable location for a bobby pin 5 times over, and restarted twice to make sure I didn't kick it somewhere. Is it even possible to pass it?
Decided to give it another shot and used console to open the first couple doors until I found a bobby pin. Playing on Survival difficulty I died maybe twice. First time not realizing I could use water fountains, second time from trying to melee the two enemies next to where the security room is. Picked up the pistol in there and cleared them with ease. Aside from my bobby pin problem at the beginning this wasn't as hard as I expected. Not quite the challenge I was looking for, but far better than anything I have encountered in this game so far.
[Spoiler] Doing the Institute ending at level 19 I cleared the airport without dying and without power armor. This game seriously needs a difficulty increase, I feel bad for hardcore players who use console because they can't afford a good enough computer for this. Getting hardcore mods is probably going to be far harder for them.
Ha! You're not looking closely enough!! The Bobby pins are hidden in the second room with the freezers, underneath something on the table! However it is possible that the roaches might have kicked it around a bit. I'm super glad you found it challenging! Maybe I'll make a harder version later ???? For some reason the videos don't load for me on the Nexus. But I found them on playing through again, I think the roaches just kicked them around on me the first couple times. Bad luck I guess.
Sweet. I'd like to reduce the number of pins so you're really sweating whenever you break one, but the individual pins disappear easily, and the box gives too many... Tough decision for now!
It's a saved game. I don't know if nmm installs those correctly or not. You can download manually and save it in your saved game directory, then load it like a normal save.
Have you tried it out? Anyway FO4 feels like a desert to me - not enough enemies! And it's so EASY. Seriously. Try spawning 200 ghouls and see if you can defeat them. You might be surprised to find that you can! Of course on "Survival" difficulty.

Took me a while to figure out how to heal myself without a pipboy though...
