I think they were trying to be helpful by pointing out the error, seeing as they did say that they liked the mod, however it's a darn shame that they also don't know how to spell. XD
This really is a great little mod. Between this and Recruitable settlers, I've got a nice "core cast" of NPCs for my major settlements, without having to wait for randos to show up from the radio beacon.
If the author(s?) ever come back to FO4 modding, hopefully they can add to this.
THIS MOD IS INCOMPATABLE WITH SHOURD MANOR FROM THE CREATION KIT!!!! If you cant find the bar and have that mod on you need to disable the shroud manor as they use the same location.
This looks really great but unfortunately I can't seem to find the location of this mod. I walked all around Cambridge and didn't see it. The plugin is at the bottom of my load order.
If someone could even upload a picture or video of the location that would be great. I did a search on Youtube but couldn't find any showcase videos.
As always thanks for the fine work you modders do!
Its one of those mods I really enjoy. I love having some unique NPC and this really gives me all I wanted in this category ^^ Thank you for making this
I love the idea of this mod. Finding it was no problem (hell, finding misc hair mod for this was more complicated than finding the 'bar' in-game) I only got 3 of the settlers to work. the rest are stuck in a perminant Sandbox mode. And do not ingage when spoken to. saying the ocasional idle greeting. but only the doctor, and the bartender, the old lady, the dog owner, and Irma (Im terrible with name's, but Irma's an easy name to remember thanks to the horrican with the same name taking my home irl) but anyway. There's defenantly some option here. and I love it. The non-voiced Settlers when recruiting is a bit of a pain, but what can you do? Voicing so many NPC's alone or with just two people could be a real task.
other than the 3 settlers Ive mentioned above. (Irma, The dog owner, and the grandma) Are hirable settlers.
The dog owner spawns wearing no pants. And Despite the annoyance of it, I found it rather funny.
The man behind the counter. uh... Wellford. the guy behind the counter? He breaks dialog. when you speak to him, you can not speak to him again. and by speak, Engaging him for conversation only get's you a greeting, then nothing. the only way to repeat this (as he cant talk other than greeting) is to either talk to another npc, or leave the radiant.
The bartender and the doctor, do their function just fine, the doctor heals rads, health, and addiction, but Im not sure if they are hirable, there is no option for it.
Im keeping this mod, just for the simple potential it has. Please keep up the work!!
Hello. there's no Radiant appearing in the game. all the mods are installed , everything seems fine in Nexus, but the radiant does'nt appear. I've seen another post with the same problem. Have you guy found a solution ? or another idea anybody ? And could you upload a picture of the entrance ? i've searched so much i'm sure there's nothing, but you never know.
I was recently using the Random feature of the new site design to explore some mods for a new playthrough and your gem caught my attention.
Have to say, this is an awesome idea and you’ve done a fantastic job! Personally, I absolutely LOATHE FO4’s settlement system and only do the bare minimum of building so I can have a few scattered places to trade or see a doctor outside the scant few developed locations the game provides.
Having a place to go “settler shopping” for recruiting doctors and merchants rather than plopping down a goofy beacon and waiting for NPCs to show up is right up my alley! You really have created a great variety of characters and it has proven challenging to try and decide who should go where.
