    I really like this mod, my only complaint is that I've noticed a high chance of being shot by my own tankbot when enemies show up, sometimes it's minor like a few stray shots but there's been a couple times already (just installed this today) where they've started shooting but instead of being trained on the enemy I'M the target of a full burst, I was nearly killed by one such incident!
    Is it because the weapon is a new category and the A.I doesn't know how to aim it properly, or is it because I'm using the invisible dummy head?
    I only have the minigun turret right now, but god help if I upgraded to missiles or the fatman one...
    I'm using Codsworth by the way, not an Automatron creation, if that matters.

    Nothing says " Making Commonwealth Great Again" like fleet of blue autonomous tank-drones killing raiders left and right ;)

    Anyone else having problems with this mod completely breaking the Automatron DLC? Previous save I had no 'Special' category in the robot workbench, thus I couldn't install the MSAT module and get through the lair. This mod, I had it for a fleeting moment, used it to install the radar beacon on ADA, then went to make her a tank. As soon as I gave her a tank hull the Special category disappeared and, despite making a hard save before making a single tweak, now it's permanently gone again.


    Real annoying. And this time around I know it's this mod causing it because A: This save file lacks any other mods that add/modify robot parts B: I had a Special category right up until I applied the SD Tank Base mod. Tracks? They worked fine, but when I replaced Ada's asssaultron chassis with a tank chassis is when everything came flying right apart. And, of course, without the ability to add an M-SAT module, the DLC is effectively useless to me.


    It's a great mod, but needless to say, it's highly annoying to have it locking me out of an entire DLC by breaking the Special category in the robot workbench.

    I'm going to go fiddle around, see if using the uninstall chem will restore the menu properly. If that fails, I'm going to crack this sucker open in the GECK and attempt to jury rig it myself. Won't be the first time I've had to do that vis-a-vis these menus and mods breaking them.

      Yeah, no luck with using the uninstall chem and trying again. It managed to break the menu so badly that it's affecting saves made before the bug happened. Off to the GECK I go.

      Didn't get anywhere in the GECK this time around, but with enough tinkering with installing/uninstalling/enabling/disabling/fiddling, I managed to get the Special menu to pop back up. Definitely confirmed that applying the tank base nukes the category, but I can hold off on building tanks until I've fitted the MSat to something.

      INteresting. Even after fitting ADA with an M-Sat, if I then proceed to add tank parts to her, the M-Sat is removed and she is unable to activate the doorways throughout the Mechanist's lair. As long as I hold off on building any tankbots until post-DLC, however, it's kopasheeshy on account of never needing the Special category again. I didn't test to see if I could add tank parts to a different bot/build one from scratch and have the same issue pop up, far as I'm concerned I discovered the source of why I couldn't finish Automatron last save and just didn't use the tank parts until after I finished the DLC.

      Were you able to find out if anyone else had this issue? I really like the mods M150 puts out but I don't want to brick a save by locking myself out of completing the DLC properly.

      I'm hoping it's just a long-shot bug as I haven't seen anyone else with this issue even though your write up is pretty comprehensive and clear-cut that this mod is the likely cause.
