Enhanced Wasteland Preset ENB by Razed (Towdogg's Darker Realism Edit)

INSTALLATION:

!!!!FIRST OF ALL, CHECK THE REQUIRED MODS IN THE DESCRIPTION AND DOWNLOAD/INSTALL THOSE, ALWAYS READ THE DESCRIPTIONS!!!!

1) SIMPLY REPLACE YOUR ENBSERIES.INI,
ALSO REPLACE ENBLOCAL.INI IN YOUR ROOT FO4 FOLDER (REMEMBER TO CHANGE ENBLOCAL.INI VALUES ACCORDING TO YOUR SYSTEM, IE MEMORY USAGE ETC).


2) ENB SERIES FOLDER CONSTAINS THE SHADER VALUES, REPLACE THESE TOO IN YOUR FO4 ROOT DIRECTORY.


3) COPY ENBDEPTHOFFIELD.FX AND ENBDEPTHOFFIELD.FX.INI (THIS IS Insane Power Burger ENB DoF Preset by Insane Power Burger!!)

!!!!OPTIONAL!!!!

REPLACE YOUR FO4 INI FILES WITH MINE.

OR ALTERNATIVELY, CHANGE THE IN GAME BRIGHTNESS TWO LEVELS LOWER THAN DEFAULT VALUE. (THIS IS WHAT I PLAY WITH)












First things first, (hello!), this is a very simple mod, all it does is edit the ENB settings to your existing Enhanced Wastleand Preset for FO4!

The original settings are fantastic (credits to Razed), however, I am in the minor majority that prefer an even darker, realistic ambient lighting look in my games.

Ambient lighting is turned down, aswell as birghtness/gamma, and a few shader tweaks to make it look more, in my opinion, like the human eye would see lighting (forget the white backdrop lighting aiding you to see enemies!)

I admit, this ISN'T for everybody, some prefer to see everything at all times and prefer more of a 'game' feel, but I am in the camp of Immersion > Gameplay. I like things dark, realistic, and feeling the need to take a screenshot every few minutes of gameplay.



Expect slightly darker nights so bring a torch! Slightly more vivid sunrises/sunsets! More glare from the sun! And slightly more saturated colours!




Please be kind when informing me of any errors with the files, how this mod is presented, etc etc, as this is my second mod on this site, I may be
missing something very obvious/required mods for this to work properly!
