But when I'm playing this game and I personally think "No... I'm playing survival mode right now and I want to play hardcore sometimes! I'll put this mode away for a while and come back to it later!", I can't delete people's modes! There were concerns from people who said that after turning off this mod, they would no longer be able to die! I also felt that pain, so I am writing this down. Also, I was able to see that it worked well enough when I returned to travel the world of Fallout once again and reinstalled this mod. Install the latest version 2.14 (if your primary language is not English, temporarily disable your country's language and just download the original author's mod)Go to your inventory and press the delete button on the holotape, and it will be deleted normally and you can finally die! I don't know what will happen to NexusMod and Bethesda due to the state of your computer and the strange updates you will see later, but please know that if you download the latest version, you can turn it off and on again at any time.Lastly, I think the advantage of having a colleague who saves me when I'm having a hard time is a great and attractive idea and technology that allows me to travel the world of Fallout. Unfortunately conflicts with Insult to Injury according to fo4edit, as it messes with stimpack healing enough to reverse how ITI overhauls player healing with stimpacks in survival mode
is there anyway to make it so the player character doesnt die/game doesnt end after time out? would be neat for an option to self recover from bleedout after say 30-60s and have crippled limbs or some sort of debuff. i managed to get self recover working somehow before using "setessential 7 1" but cant seem to get it working now. also using PANPC and PACE.
i simply dont like the idea of dying and reloading a save, staying in the fight somehow with debuffs would be ideal. from a gameplay perspective anyway, surely not immersive. would LOVE if someone could help me achieve this or if the mod author could work some magic
Even with this mod, my followers still die. Is there some other mod, maybe, that would make my followers essential, or even protected? I tried the setessential command but they still are not essential. I could try the setprotected command, if that is a command, but if there is a mod that is more effective, I would like to try that.
seem to have no issue running Game Configuration Menu along side with this, albeit im running an older version of this mod (i guess, just came back to this page)
Can a compatibility patch for horizon be made? I love this, but currently with horizon alt death enabled you fall down a get transported to the closest settlement even if you are being healed by a companion.
Overall a good mod but HEADS UP, this mod breaks idle commands/is incompatible with Screen Archer Menu. NPCs will move a second after posing them, no matter how many times you try.
This is probably my favorite mod in my 300+ modlist. Fallout 4 is simply not the same without it. Having a solid geared crew that actually has your back and can save you form certain death changed the game for me and kept me in a 500+ hour gameplay loop. There were rare occasions when my entire team was overwhelmed and we all died, and it was so satisfying to be conquered by the wasteland.
I PRAY this mod gets updated for the next gen version of F4 and its new F4SE. If it doesn't - I may actually have to downgrade my entire game just to get this mod active again, it's that f*#@ing good. Cheers to your hard work TheBeat69. I hope all who enjoyed your mod appreciate the massive impact it makes on this game.
This mod is great but definitely has some bugginess to iron out, like follower revive markers telling you to revive them even after a follower did it for you.
I like this mod(s gameplay). It helps me to not care about my followers when they are injured because others help them (as long as I give them enough stimpaks).
I would know if this is compatible with Create Followers mod. I got my first crash to desktop and Buffout 4 NG log shows as culprit Create Followers.ESM and Follower Revive System.esp. Only the two mods.
It happened when I wanted to re-change a (HUMAN male) follower because I had weird body morph issues (all created followers had way too cubby/fat bodies).,. And it crashed to desktop. CTD did NOT happen when I created this character the first time.
By the way, I have also Unlimited Companion Framework,,, Companion Heal Thyself,,, Companions Also Need to Eat and Sleep mods installed.
