Using Unleveled World - F4SE with this is impossible lol, I encountered a pack near the radioactive crater close to downtown Boston and I had multiple companions with high damage weapons and could not even get the dogs down to half HP after five minutes.
Goodness, yeah, that would give you some stupidly overpowered dogs. They spawn via leveled list, so I'm guessing getting rid of the level requirement just gave you maxed out uber bois. lol. Not something I can fix without completely remaking the mod.
So stupid question since they're both yours, but will your Feral Dogs and Ghoul Dogs work together?
And if so which race will the Wounded Dog 'Sparky', 'Mutt', 'Buttface' encounter be? I feel like part of the charm of the encounter is that the dogs doesn't look like it would trust you, too undomesticated, showing how desperate it is.
Would love that dog as a companion, I know there's a mod for it but I'm sure that'd break if I tried to make it the ghoul dog instead of the feral.
This mod is designed to work with my feral dog mod to add a few ghouly dogs back into the world. It was actually made after I got a request from a user of the other mod :)
The wounded dog should have the fluffier "feral dog" appearance if you are using that mod, it replaces all the vanilla ghoulish looking meshes and textures with my "healthier" looking ones. I don't remember which texture he has though, I never checked him specifically and I don't have Fallout 4 installed right now.
This mod (Ghoul Dogs) does not touch the vanilla dogs, it adds additional dogs to the world (mostly by leveled spawners) that I placed in high radiation areas. It won't break a dog companion mod or alter any vanilla dog's appearance.
Delightful! I honestly think a Ghoul Dog with (from long, long experience) a high INT needs to be around Concord and adoptable as she remembers the Survivor. If you recall the pusher in Sanctuary he was most unimpressed by one client family possibly using X-Cell to improve the family dog. If the Vault-Tec Salesman could survive the bombs as a ghoul, why not the dog?
Absolutely! Now if I could just get it to work. Originally, this mod was supposed to have a recruit-able dog but she was incredibly buggy and I finally gave up. If you find a lone dog named Cassidy out by the Mass Fusion Disposal Site, that was her. I had to make her an enemy dog for now though. If I can ever get the bugs ironed out I'll publish that version... but I seriously doubt my ability to do it...
Awesome thank you! They look really great, and I'm glad to see puppies not dying in one shot with my level 112 characters! I can even say they were challenging and it was FUN! It's also pretty nice to see them at new locations so it takes players by surprise :> Did I say they looked great?
It works WITH it. The replacer just makes the vanilla dogs fluffy, this mod just adds the ghoul dogs. They are completely separate and independent of one another, but best used together for more variety.

I'd be tempted to pacify Cassidy and try AFT.
