1. As with any Overhaul, starting a new game is required.
2. Check out the miscellaneous files! There are several files there you may be interested in. (including turning lockpicking to vanilla)
3. Please make doubly sure you aren't running any incompatible mods with the overhaul, the balance can very easily be broken if you use mods that have no compatibility patch and some new features may break as well.
Sigh, I know it's completely stupid to ask, but could I face serious issues if I don't start a new game after installing this?
The main reason I installed this is because I was level 10 when I discovered the sponginess of vanilla (aside this, I had already installed the whole Midnight Ride package). Maybe I could try to forget the overhaul and installing just the old Unbogus Health scaling?
I know, level 10 is not that much, but I don't have as much time and patience as I had many years ago (especially with a game which major issues - absence of true choices, etc. - cannot be solved by mods).
ALSO: I'm sorry to say but I really don't like the big jump height, is there a way to normalize it?
Is there a way to remove the projectilification of bullet and laser/institute weapons? Also laser/institute weapons are so bright that I literally cannot see anything while being fired at by them, would be nice to toggle off the light sources of flying projectiles, if you can't disable the first thing mentioned above.
i think im not the only one writing this but the perks are "neat" but also kinda anoying could you make an external plugin for the perks? (example the whole mod without the perks and then the perk for people who want it as a extention to the mod?)
Really nice overhaul. I've tried several, and this is the best so far in terms of challenge. Did a lot of cursing yesterday when I dropped Billy off and got attacked by not just Bullet McTurdknocker but the entire gunner gang in Quincey led by some General F@cjface with a gauss rifle. I hope it continues to challenge even at higher levels.
Like some aspects, some dont. Also some parts are incompatible. Would be nice if you added most of features as separate mods. Alternatively you could put them all into 1 fomod and let player choose which parts they like.
This may sound like a stupid request but is it possible to turn off or get rid of the perks? I like the base perks and was wondering if you could make a base plugin or option, please. Everything else is wonderful.
