Hi Alpine, great work on this mod, this has saved my game from being unplayable and freezing all over to actually being playable.

Xbox Series S struggles near Haymarket, Faneuil Hall, Cabot House etc. The best setup in that platform to make the game nearly 100% playable is OVT - Main, Vivid AIO 1K and Vallius's High Quality Textures. Removing even one of these mods is a guaranteed freeze in said areas, removing all of them turns the entire boston region in a freezing minefield. With that in mind I wanted to conduct a test in compressing a bunch of vanilla textures to 512 to see if this "fixes" xbox and I would need to know which files to go to. Would you please tell me which textures are part of the "main version" in xbox?

Of course, if you also would want to have a look at doing a 512 version of OVT main for xbox that would work perfectly as well. I wouldnt release a mod of my own before conducting tests, and I'll always vouch for your mod. Were not for it Xbox would be a losing proposition.

Why does Non HD Full archive have to two texture folders? One folder has a blank space in its name and the other doesn't

What does it mean "For best result put this as HIGH"? As in put the texture resolution in options to high or put this mod in high priority in load order?

i think the author means that you should put this above most other mods in your load order, so other texture mods overwrite it.

I don't understand the difference between these 3 mods:
    https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/978
    https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1204
    https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25938
I'm guessing I should use just one, but which?

true but even with screens its hard to tell the diffrence but you can tell when your framerate rises or at the very least stutters happen way less often

Yes because texture replacers can be such a scary proposition.

I know I am extremely late to responding but isn't every mod a gamble to install and expect smooth game play? For those that will see this place at the very top of just underneath your .esm and .esl if using other texture improvement mods. Test your characters before committing this to your entire game.

It's nice that other modders are much more considerate and far less lazy than the guy who discovered this was an issue but just wrote an extremely hard to follow DIY guide that will mangle your files if not done correctly.

I wouldn't exactly call that a hard to follow guide.
Tedious, maybe. You have to do the same processes like 16 times to cover everything - but the processes aren't hard.
      Hard to follow?Hardly.
At it's core it's dead simple.Extract, Copy, Archive - Rinse and repeat.

      Agreed @fraquar

The only thing difficult is finding the 30 minutes it takes to follow the steps correctly.

This version is not a loose file version which is the main difference.
