    Just posted in your "easy supply lines" mod that I dislike having local leader 1 being useless now and 5 minutes later I find this. Time to finally give Sim Settlements a shot I guess.

      I don't know if you're still working on this mod but I do have a suggestion. There is a Sim Settlement addon called Hunter-Gather. It's purpose, as stated by thew creator, is to allow the use of SS for a brand new settlement with only one to four settlers. The idea seems to be making a very small settlement viable, using only SS, until it grows a bit. Un fortunately, the plot is slated as an industrial plot. That makes it require a rank in Local Leader to utilize. Maybe you could add a patch for that mod and yours that would allow that particular plot to be used with no requirements. Just a thought.

      I don't have any plans to support anything but official addons at the moment. Also, I'm taking a break from active modding, so I'm not up to much more than bug fixing.

    possible upgrade from 4 sensors per box to 8? since physically you can squash 8 into a box so would make more sense than 4 per box since it's clear more than 4 fit in a box when you first pick them up

      Honestly, the 4 per box was just an easy work around. I wanted to have fewer boxes spawn in the museum but I felt it was safer to just edit how many each box gives you since I couldn't figure out the method used to place them. Are you asking for more because logically you can fit more in the box or because 33 sensors isn't enough to get a player started?

      logical reason, and partial balance reason to i guess, but mostly logical, one of those things that bugs me since its ment to be a full unopened box yet has barely anything inside

      It annoyed me too, trust me. Even imagining a lot of Styrofoam. I'm not experienced with scripts or quests that place items on the map, but if I can figure out how to change the number of boxes placed without risking conflicts or breaking anything I will certainly update the mod with that change.

    Seeing as this turned out to be more popular than expected, I got an update out with better material requirements. The only plots I'm not sure on are industrial (I kept it low since it starts as just a scrap pile) and advanced industrial (haven't been patient enough to get one up and running).

    Agree with Kaizer. Local Leader and Sim a sensible move.
    Personally I wouldn't also mind a higher base cost to begin with.
    The Sole will already have a decent amount of resources and caps when hitting the requirements for Local Leader.

      I agree, once I have a better feel for the average material cost of a plot (non-upgraded) I will likely increase plot costs more. Though I need to do further playtesting before I get there.

    I like the idea of attaching Local leader with SIM. I think it is a good move, thanks, for now I am tracking this
