I like the concept alot.I'll try this out but I imagine that since I use Be Exceptional and Humble perks pack that it might need a patch... for display? Might properly override the effects themself but we'll see. :D
It would be great to have a version for New Vegas; with the right mod selection, you can already replicate most functionality from the classic games very well, with new twists because of the real-time 3d nature of the games now. The only thing missing is a feature for your shots to miss enemies as well, then it will be about as close to old fallout as we can get without making it turn-and-hex-based and isometric 2d again!

Does this mod allow you to dodge all incoming, so like I would be able to dodge the damage from an explosions (eg car explosions, grenades, etc) and even the unique deathclaw pickup attack can be dodged (the animations still show when the deathclaw picks you up, but no damage is taken)?
I haven't seen anything like it previously which is why I made it. I won't vouch for explosions (you'll probably still die), but with deathclaws you'll have a chance to not take any damage, but it can still pick you up.
I use Better Companions, which alters the companion perks. Aside from Preston's perk, nothing companion related was changed? It should just be a matter of load order then then to make sure I'll get the dodge perk.
well the text on codsworth's perk description, but yes, loading better companions before or after will make it lose or take priority depending on which order you choose. According to better companion's page, preston's perk isn't changed so it might not matter.
Is it safe to just remove the Codsworth entry in fo4edit if the mod doesn't do anything with it? I just checked and the default perk overrides the Better Companions codsworth perk when placed on lower load order.
Can we have separate files for changes in different perks? I might be interested in changes to refractor / toughness but not others. And I dont need more chems in this game. Having too many changes affecting too many different things at once is a thing that typically makes me avoid the mod. You could upload files for small changes and a combined file for everything together for those who prefer it.
