You should also disable those stupid "gifts" that the followers give you when trying to open the dialogue interface to dismiss them. No I don't want your f*#@ing sweet roll, I want you to go home! Its annoying to talk to them twice because of that stupid gift closing the dialouge menu.
*The fact that Bethesda didn't originally realize how annoying the repetitiveness of the lines are going to be is a testament to their stupidity. I would have realized this back then and done something about it.
kind buggy, but at same time it's a fine mod, I use it for time, disable it today.. Idk, some bugs, may be mod conflict, but now that I disable other bug appears. Wen a companions want to talk to you and you say "can we talk later?" he/she agree, but they start again the dialogue asking to talk to you endless. I tried use a bunch of mods to cut some of the most annoying comments of them, but in the process installing/unistaling a lot of mods I screwed w/ my save.. AGAIN.
But anyway, endorsed.
Edit: The badass solution: "you talk to much" mod ... disable all the automatic dialogue start from all the npc's, the problem is: excessive silence. The FO4 world seens dead w/ this mod, but the annoying stuffs go away together.
After spending a few hundred hours listening to companions say the exact same lines over and over, I am happy now that those lines are completely gone.
"From what I can see, is that this mod DELETES a lot of companion dialogues entirely, rather than simply reducing their frequency. Which is, not necessarily what most people would want."
I tried a lot of methods and mods to do reduce unnecessary chatter, like increasing timers that reduce other conversations aswell, reducing ranges which brake mods like quick trade or push, this solution is working. I really got fed up of constant companion chatter so i started to mark even combat chat entries as deleted for each companion, its magnificent. Kudos for the idea.
I wish this included companion comments about locations. I've been running around with Piper and it seems she wants to comment about every location we visit. It's becoming quite annoying.
I dont think this is going to do what I want it to. ATM, I have to endure Curies endless force-greets, asking me, If I have found someone to make her human. Like every fooking 5 mins or less. The repetition is bad enough, but there is a force-greet aspect to it as well. Looking at the mod in edit, I dont see the actual quest entries for Emergent Behavior, just a lot of her idle comments.
From what I can see, is that this mod DELETES a lot of companion dialogues entirely, rather than simply reducing their frequency. Which is, not necessarily what most people would want. I wouldn't want these dialogues eliminated entirely, just reduced to maybe once a day, or not even that. And, as I said, it does not seem to touch companion quest spam, much of which is unnecessarily repetitive and intrusive as hell, I mean well.
