Love the idea, I've been trying to find a way to remove the crippled limb restoration without breaking the %-based healing Stimpaks have by default, will test this out and see how it performs! I just want a reason to use doctors for a change... and the doctor's bags from the Lima Outpost mod. I don't see how anyone ever needs a doctor when stimpaks practically grow on trees... maybe I need a loot reduction mod while I'm at it lol.

Using the 50% setting did it for me, this way I still have to use at least 2 stims to restore limb condition or a doctors bag. Makes combat a lot more hairy when used in combination with crippled limb mods like Realistic Crippled Limb Effects. Thanks!

Seemed to work at first, but then I realized that over time my limbs were fully healing anyway. Is there any way to stop that regen?

Good point. I never actually used this mod beyond testing. But there is a setting to change how long before limbs auto heal I just found out about. I could try messing with that.

It seems that is not working as it should. I installed 10% version and it is really restoring 10% of limbs damage. But it remove crippling effect itself with only single stimpack. Or it should work that way?

Yeah, it's just how the limb damage mechanic works. You only need 1% (or 1 point of limb health) for your limb to be fully functional. you only get a crippled stat effect if a limb is at 0 health. But healing a limb to only 10% means that it shouldn't take much to re-cripple it if you take damage.

You can test if it is working correctly by using a stimpak after a limb is crippled and checking your health status in the pip boy. There is a health bar for each limb and the one that was healed should only be partially filled.

Yes, after using just one stimpack crippling effect is disappear. But again this is better than in vanilla game (IMHO).

Can you check the Agony mod? (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25600/?) It has some items to heal crippled limbs like in FONV, but I didn't tried that mod yet.

I haven't tried Agony yet, but I am aware of it and will probably take a look at it. I agree my mod isn't an ideal solution, but I figured no one else had done this and it is an easy enough mod to make.

I think a better way to handle limb crippling would be to make the cripple effects more severe and then add something like a milder five minute debuff after the limb is restored to simulate the healing process. This would likely require scripting though and be above my skill level as a modder.
