my problem is that your build doesn't show up in the list of blueprints to import. I have made note of other blueprint locations and reassigned to an unused slot trying 6 different locations but it never shows as available for import
I have successfully used 2 of your other blue prints that seem to work without a problem. Any suggestions?

Some of the shops and furniture end up clipping though each other. And yes, I'm in the buildzone. I have to redo some of the stuff after construction.

Never heard of this before. You must be using some mods that changes those objects. You can look through all the screenshots to see how the blueprint was built and how the furniture and shops originally looked. But, you don't need to stick with my plan either. Feel free to modify as you see fit once it imports.

When I build this everything is at the wrong angles. The external walls and all the stairs and floors seem to be rotated 90 degrees from where I assume they should be. Also, none of the power connects as it should.

Any ideas? All your other templates were fine.

this is a known issue if you leave the buildzone while importing. Stay in the build zone :)

Hi, I just found you mod right now and very interesting in it because I'm to lazy to re-make this settlement and your design is so amazing !so what I need is "Transfer Settlement", right? and Do I have to make this place be my settlement before import it? last Q. I just need to use import option of Transfer Settlement for import your blue print, right? then do it in holotape? easy just click it?thank you very much :)

Hi xvader. Transfer Settlements has some of it's own requirements so I would suggest visiting it's description page first

      https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22442/

Basically all you need is F4SE, Transfer Settlements, HUDFramework and a blueprint like mine. If you install these things correctly, you get a holotape added to your inventory in game and you would use that to import the blueprint.

i'm finished import your blueprint and it is just perfect. I'm so impress in this your settlement, bet you were got a lot enjoy while making it. Actually I love to design all of my settlements by my own design except this farm because I hate this place. But you done amazing job, it can go with the old house perfectly, not less not much. endorsed ! . (I hope I can restrain myself and download only one of your blueprint :) )

This looks lovely. Have you considered taking this blueprint and converting over to a Sim Settlements city plan too, now that that's an option?

I have considered converting all of my builds to Sim Settlements, but to be honest none of them really fit in with the way Sim Settlements does things.

I may revisit the idea later, but for now I am going to stick with my original goal of finishing what I started (all settlements as blueprints).

That said, I've already tried converting my Red Rocket build over to a city plan with 3 build stages, and it worked, more or less. I'd have to go back and modify all my original blueprints to add the City Planners Desk, but in theory it's doable.

I can imagine the difficulty of trying to segment these builds into a multi-stage city, but from what I understand (and I may be wrong about this), not all city plans have to be three stage; Kinggath actually expected that many blueprint makers would just put the blueprint in as a once-and-done build and leave it at that, especially at first. This would let console players (or people like me with low-end PCs that can barely handle Sim Settlements, and just don't have the horsepower to run F4SE mods and maintain stability) to be able to enjoy these builds too.

I totally get wanting to get all the blueprints out of the way first, and if you were to take the stance of "If I'm going to put these in Sim Settlements, I'm going to make full use of the core features there," that's totally cool too. I'll just keep checking in from time to time.

No, you are correct. I could just convert all of my latest builds into a single stage city. But as you say, it wouldn't play nice with SS without a fair amount of tinkering.

As far as console players - I think my smallest builds would choke a console and my larger ones would probably cause a console to melt down.

Eventually I'll probably give SS a go and see if I can get my build style playing nicely with it :)

This is not an issue with the blueprint, and I don't think necessarily with Transfer Settlements either.

Do you have many mods installed?

You may also want to visit CDante's Discord server for additional help with this issue. Check the Transfer Settlements page for the link.

Edit: I also remembered a discussion about this on CDante's Discord so I went looking through the history. Someone else had a similar issue. For some reason it solved itself. Just keep retrying as far as I can tell. Still wouldn't hurt to try popping by the Discord channel if you get a chance and still have issues.

I love these builds. I will own up to using some additional scrap mods after the build finishes and stabilizes, like Spring Cleaning but it mostly removes trash and brambles,. Thank you for all of these,

Thanks! Don't be feeling guilty for using cleaning mods ;) As I've mentioned before in many comments.... my builds are a base for others to work from. I don't expect (and do not really want) people to just 'use them as is' - make them your own! ;)

More builds will be coming. I almost have my new save where I want it to go back to building.

I just wanted to tell you how unique I find your buildings. So much different from how I think and execute. Some really awesome work. I downloaded your save game file just to travel around and check them out. Turns out my PC can't handle them once they get populated, but that is on me, not you. Doesn't mean your work is any less impressive. You should make some more youtube videos, you have a lot of really awesome looking layouts.

      Thank you!

I will be making more videos eventually, but working a full time job + real life stuff keeps my free time very limited, so for now I am focused on building when I have the chance.

      Thanks so much!

I may go back there again to make some changes to the ground floor - I have a way to blend the floor in better now.

You're welcome and I passed on the thanks. :) LokiX1 will get photos for you too when he fixes it up. He did make an awesome wall around Abernathy that he shared with me. I don't have patience with lining up walls. LoL
