****The songs will go into a folder that you need to make at this location Data\Sound\FX\ once you have the FX folder in Sound open create a new folder and name it exactly this "MP3Songs" all your numbered XWM songs will go into this folder.****
I made another derpy error and forgot to add the script for the holotape in with the main downloadable Jukeboxes. So if you want your Holotape to do anything please download the Script for it under the Main Files of the Download area. This script works with all Jukeboxes.
Some of the pictures are sort of dated like back to when I was testing it. The text on the message boxes has since been updated.
Please read the description page (I know it is long, it took me 2 hours to write it), but it details what you need to know to get this working correctly.
Make sure to make a list of your songs and what number they are for reference.
Critical mod to fully customize the Fallout experience and enjoy all the time it takes to build settlements when the original music begins to get old and repetitive. Other than the "random" algorithm being a bit flaky with repetition even after just playing the same song, the mp3 mod makes listening to your desired music an immersive experience rather than just forcing it through with a PC installed player. Thanks for the in game functionality.
Have to put a jukebox in every settlement because after you get so far away from it the music stops. Including fast travel, but it's works wonderfully if you're near it. Would be perfect if you could hear it no matter where you went. Maybe make an old walkman version from the 80s :P
Installed flawlessly sounds great every things working, but how do i get out pf shuffle does it keep playing? or will it stop after shuffling 5 songs say i picked that option. I have to say thanks for a great Mod nothing like adding your favorite theme music to a game ...
Were I to get Fallout 4 I'd likely stuff the music mods full of 20th century rock, early pop (including early Madonna), 20th century punk/metal/alternative hits, 20th century country, raggae from the 20th, pretty much all 20th century related stuff alongside established music for Fallout. Still I need to convince myself to get this game as I'm normally not sold on survival games.
Awesome. Works as advertised still in 2022. With MO2, just create the folder yourself, put in tunes, enjoy. Dancehall at the Red Rocket tonight, highly recommended with this mod^^.
And iffen your looking to put something into your settlement that plays music from an actual sound source, use this mod (or pippod, or any radio station you like, really). If your not happy with the bathroom radios & speakers, go into F4 edit, make your own little patch, copy-override the craftable vanilla speakers and change the frequency to that of PersonalRadio station's (or your preferred radio mod's) frequency. Boom. Your sound in your settlement/player home. I have no clue if you can just copy them as new entries as well, so you get the vanilla radios and your own, haven't messed with FO4edit enough yet. But changing freqs on the vanilla objects sure worked fine for me.
gotta say that of all the mods I have downloaded over the years (literally thousands), this has to be in my top 10...it is really enjoyable, especially during settlement building...I figure where I want it in a settlement, then "build around" it....all the time rockin to some Hendrix, Rolling Stones, Animals, Beatles all 60s stuff....
And, on top of that, I have never had an issue with it ... period.

However, you can always use the mute function if a song comes on that you are not too fond of.
I am glad that you like it
