As you're wandering through the ruins of downtown Boston, you find a building which is heavily fortified by a camp of raiders. As you're wandering through the ruins of downtown Boston, you find a building which is heavily fortified by a camp of raiders. You're not about to let a bunch of raiders get in the way of your curiosity, so you blast through them and enter the building. Inside, you can learn the story of Allison Miller, the CEO of Atlantic Pharmaceuticals, who was consumed by greed and paid the ultimate price. Then, you find a doped up raider who learned the same story and will stop at nothing to uncover the pre-war bounty left behind by Ms. Miller. What will happen? Well, probably a bunch of dead raiders, but you'll find out for sure as you explore the Atlantic Offices.

Wait, Atlantic Offices? That place in the Glowing Sea? Yup!

If you're like me, when you were first exploring the Glowing Sea and you found a location called Atlantic Offices, you were... disappointed. I just walked all the heck the way out here into the great radioactive unknown to find a significant new location and all I got was a collapsed skyscraper with a bunch of ghouls? Cool.

But there's a reason it's nothing special. Oxhorn has a great video on YouTube which goes a lot more into the detail of this, but essentially there was supposed to be an Atlantic Offices in the Financial District of downtown Boston, near the Shamrock Taphouse (you know, the one with the raider camp on the ground and another raider camp on the roof?). There's even an unused cell in the game you can travel to with console commands or some mods which create doors to the unused cells. It's an interior of a skyscraper building that seems to be about 20% done. There are a lot of incomplete parts to the level, blocked off rooms, poorly placed walls, some raiders scattered about, and a WHOLE LOT OF CLIPPING ERRORS, OH MY GOD. But I digress.

The point here is that I took that cell, figured out where it ought to have been based on the architecture and naming conventions of the cell and other areas around Boston (and I later found that others have found the same place through other means, so, yeah, it's legit). Then, I made it an actual playable level! With lore! And a cool combat shotgun that has the legendary bleed effect! It'll mess up someone's day, guaranteed!

I didn't want to make this mod anything overpowered or extra difficult or even particularly outstanding - I just felt like the foundation (get it, because it's a building) of this encounter was really solid and I wanted it to be a part of the game.
