    To be super safe, before installing this mod you should exit any power armor and make sure you have your base strength stat when entering power armor with this mod for the first time.

    If your'e having issues reply to this post with details please. I'd like to know whether you were in power armor when you installed, how much you're stats changed by (if they changed), or whatever else is broken. I don't think version should matter at the moment but you may as well include that too.

    There are a couple of know issues that I've been able to reproduce myself, one where strength is lowered and one where its raised. Both seem to only occur when installing the mod and then loading a save where you are already in power armor, in both cases you should be able to rectify the problems by uninstalling the mod then reverting to a save before you installed the mod, getting out of the armor and then reinstalling.

    The problem of strength equipment decreasing your strength should also be fixed by removing the clothing and putting it back on, obviously you dont need to reinstall if this works for you.

      Do you think you be able to do other effects to just wearing power armor with out the body parts? like increase run speed and some how reduce recoil on guns some how if possible, and reduce power consumption/cells by 30% when it does not have armor pieces on, way i vision this is a build, where you able to use the power armor with out the metal armor pieces, so then i can set my difficulty harder or insane harder, i downloaded a mod that raids the settlements on a big scale, and i figured a game-play changer like using a power armor in what i call its basic form would mean i would be 100% inside during the power armor basic form in the game, with a upkeep of powering it, but reduced due to less weight from metal armor pieces. pretty much create a super solider, but not a mech i hope that make sense.

      Reduce cell/power consumtion by 20-30% when not wearing metal armor peices
      Increase strength values like you already have
      if possible reduce Recoil passively to all guns
      and increase run speed faster then normal so with out the power armor run speed is 100%, with the power armor with out metal armor pieces is 115%
      Reduce explosive damage taken by %10 if possible

      Most of that would probably need the geck i think. Obviously there's some kind of script in the game that supports knowing when all of the same armor is being worn (the paint job bonuses) but right now in fo4edit i cant find it/the program cant read it. i could add some of those bonuses, the recoil reduction/speed, but i think those would be better suited to armor mods instead of the base frame.

    Okay, as of today, this mod works pretty well.  Even now - there is one slight warning to be had however.  It breaks at 12 strength - if you hit a 12 natural strength (using daytripper to lower your strength to use the book in sanctuary, and then going to get the bobblehead) the frame will provide no bonus at -all- in power armor.

    So, I am a bit late to this party, but I really like this.  Rewards you for wearing the armor when you're already quite strong.

    Worth noting that the strength boost from the weight set you get out of one of the workshop?  Still works appropriately with this (so while wearing the armor, I am rocking a 15 passive strength, and I do mean to get the servo assist on my armor which should push it up even further) this has the benefit of making power armor really interesting for melee again - I'm doing a mix of heavy weapons and melee this go round, so this will definitely pay off nicely.

    This needs a version with ap boost and no charisma boost otherwise I like it!

    Was looking for something like this, does it work for all power armors? (new ones aswell), also what happens when you have 12 base strength? (day tripper + special book) still get 3 strength?

    Could your +10 Version also have the Charisma, carryweight and AP boosts that your normal version has?

    Hi, I really like this mod but I cant get it to work properly with un-naked: (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6977/?) which adds stats and affects from your armor and clothes to your power armor. Most stats are added to the power armor but strength is automatically set to 14 with the latest version of this mod or 16 with the +5 version. It seems that extra charisma from this mod stacks with un-naked but the strength does not. Do you know how I could fix this?

    Any help is appreciated thanks.

    Hey, any chance you can add a reduction of damage from melee when wearing power armor? I find it quite silly that ghouls do so much damage when they smack you with their limbs in your power armor.

    Can I request one whit out the lowering when your strength is higher? it looks pretty silly to become weaker in power armor because you are already strong..

      not to my knowledge. when the geck is released it'll probably be an easy mod though.
