This is great. I love having a super-OP version of all the vanilla weapons, 'cause it lets me switch up the combat with a ton of variety and keeps me from getting bored. I only wish it had support for (A) grenades and (B) DLC weapons. Still, having a blast with it, so thanks!! Endorsed.
Plugins are manageable in a couple of ways. 1) through the fallout 4 folder in the "C:/>Users>Your username>appdata>local>fallout 4" direcory. there is a file titled plugins.txt
Or
2. through the NMM
I had An issue where i could not change the order in which all my plugins loaded and had to leave Mega Weapons in 7th in the loading order. After some thinking, and searching i realized that since the "03" at the beginning of each mega weapon id was to indicate that the plugin was third to load. since my mega weapons plugin was in the 7th load order, i simply had to change the "03" to a "07." And it produced an instant fix.
in terms of the weapons showing normal stats for the weapon, i think it was either overlooked or couldn't be helped, but trust me the weapons are sooo OP.
This mod is clearly an elabourate troll as there is no such thing as a plugin manager on the Fallout 4 launcher. Clicking beneath the mask (or anywhere) does nothing, and neither does adding "bEnableFileSelection=1" anywhere on the Prefs.ini
Does not work for me either. I have placed as 3rd in my load order in NMM. I have tried using the command in the console "bat mega", without the ", and while it lists all the items, etc..all it states is that the item is not recognized. Have tried doing the command in prefs.ini as well, still no change to check through the launcher. Ill agree with others that this mod just might not work for most, and only luckily for some.
Getting the script error "items ID not found for parameter ObjectID" ? Download the Fallout 4 Mod Manager. (in fallout 4 / utilities section) Install mod from that.
Then go into your games fallout 4 directory - and click on the fallout 4 directory (yes there is a fallout 4 directory within the fallout 4 directory...) - open the Fallout4Prefs.ini then add this bEnableFileSelection=1 to the [Launcher] section
now when you load the game - you will be able to access the data menu by clicking on the mask as he has shown in the description.
when the data menu appears - make sure that this mod is the 3rd mod listed. (data menu allows you to rearrange them)
So I am able to add the items to my inventory just fine the problem i'm running into is that their stats claim they only do the same damage as the normal versions. Do they do extra damage even though they claim to only do the same amount or is something not working for me?
Also same issue here. Mega weapons are in my inventory but the stats show that they are the same as any other weapon of the same type the only difference being that the ones obtained from your mod the in game weapon name has MEGA in the name. Any chance of getting clarification on this issue?
Have you tried shooting the guns before posting your comment? My guns show normal stats but they are definitely mega. I spawned legendary deathclaws to test and all the mega guns one shot killed every time.
P.S. for anyone curious, I added mods such as suppressors to the mega guns and they still one shot kill.
i tried this too and it still wont open the batch file... it would be so much easier if you just had the item id numbers.... until then this mod is on the back burner.
How do you enable the data manager? I have been clicking like a madman not only in the spot you pointed out but all over the launcher menu as well and I can't get the manager to pop up.
I feel pretty neutral about this mod mainly because I don't really like killing people too quickly, takes the fun out of it, but that's just me. I endorsed because your image of showing how to enable mod .esp files just blew my mind, saved me time from going to Roaming and looking for plugins.txt to add in the .esp.

No wonder the author "cannot contact anyone".
