   For you guys who say "doesnt work".
   
   Open console with ` key and type prid 1a4d7 . Then type SetAV MQ302Companion 1 .

      I'm glad it helped for you, it seems very situational weirdly enough. If you blew up the institute without the vac order this works but some people did something else and still got the bug I guess.

   Doesn't work...Crap : \
   Tried it a couple of times already but still nothing, he keeps repeating the "holy shit...the institute is destroyed---". I can't even assign him as a settler like I used to, can't open his inventory either. Freaking useless npc.

    Worked, seems I got strange dialogue after but it stopped repeating.
