That's OK. Using 3ds max, maya, blender .... just create armor without skin weight, then in OS you add skin weight and export to nif, and final important step is check it by Nifskope.
Hi, I have no desire to create my own armor, but I use an outfit that is a mash-up of several mods. I've been trying to find a tutorial that just allows me to make an esp and obj for it and nothing more, but it's just been very confusing. Is there a tutorial to just do that?
I think you just import these mods (Nif file) into Outfit Studio, export to FBX Now import FBX to Maya, use BoneFix (in BrainPoof tutorial) and follow my tutorial.
