    Welcome to the Industrial Revolution!

The Quick Start video is up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgnslnehGRQ

Be sure to keep your version of Sim Settlements up to date! This expansion and Sim Settlements must always be on the same version. So if you update one, be sure to update the other as well.

The first few videos for the In-Depth Series are going up now, I'll and get the others out tomorrow when I have more time to edit them.

Patch 4.0.1 is live! This eliminates some unnecessary model files to reduce the overall size of the mod slightly.

Patch Notes can be found here.

It's become clear to me that I can't be a one man army on the support front, I had kept up with it until about October of last year, but now things have grown to the point where I need regular help. If you receive a response from damanding or kalimac, they are helping me out to keep up with everything to ensure everyone gets there questions answered and bug reports added to my fix list.

I will still try and pop in periodically to respond to some things personally, but balancing my time between fatherhood, my job, and continuing to develop the mod has become close to impossible without help - hope everyone understands!

Nvm, managed to fix the install by using the "unpack as-is" option.

Hi, I am running into this on a new play through, I noticed that none of my advanced industrial zones were creating stockpile items in their inventory. I ran through all the options and I saw the stockpile system was off by default, I don't remember ever turning it off. For troubleshooting I turned the setting back on and my industrial zones would still not stockpile.

For additional testing I created a new game and ran through to the museum and got the city manager's holo-tape, ran the wizard and confirmed with default settings that the stock pile system was showing off. I am showing in the documentation that this setting is supposed to be on by default, is this intentional behavior? What am I doing wrong?

Fresh install, no MCM, selected "New User" in holotape interface, verified stockpile is showing off... I've used these mods many times in the past and I've never seen this behavior before. I'm at a loss at this point :)

      Update #3 :) :)

I set all settings to default on a new game, no problem now, weird that it defaults to off for me!

Thank you for the encouragement uituit, I was ready to give up!

Does anyone know which building will find Gears? From any of the expansion packs?
Also, if it is from another, could you please list which mod pack it is from? Thank you very much ^^

Yeah, unfortunately I didn't see anything in there telling the prereq's for the crusher to Hazmat upgrade. I've been using that sheet for quite some time now. VERY handy! Pretty sad when I started building when my character is around lvl 20 and now I'm lvl 97 and still no hazmat!!!

NEED HELP! Some reason I cannot get my Crusher to upgrade to Hazmat Processing. This is like my 3rd go around with new characters and I can't seem to get it to upgrade. It has plenty of required materials and I have lvl2 scrapyard lvl1 lumber mill and lvl1 mines. I think the only thing I don't have at this settlement is a lvl1 community well. Is there a requirement I'm missing to be able to upgrade the crusher to hazmat processing?

What are Dirt, Clay, Sand, Gravel, Coal, and Sterilized Plastic used for?

Also, my Advanced Industrial plots are not visually different when they are ready for me to choose their upgrade path. Is that a setting somewhere?

[Edit] One more question - I read somewhere that there was a plan to enable info-sharing among settlements so that indirect upgrade requirements didn't have to be in the same settlement. Was that ever put into place?

For Terraforming foundations and to upgrade plots.
They wont change till after they upgrade.
Once you unlock a path that should allow you to build plot in other settlements.

Thanks for all the answers (again). A clarification, when I said "visually different", I meant as an indicator that the plot was ready for me to choose an upgrade path (assuming I'd turned off auto-upgrade). In the video I saw, I believe the plot got a kind of white "glow" to it. The 3 plots I've upgraded so far just looked normal and I only knew they were ready by checking the ASAM box for upgrade options.

Probably a stupid question.... but i cant for the life of me figure out how to get clay or sand, are they only acquired through a certain industrial plot?

    Hello,

does this mod higher the settler amount ? In Vanilla its only like 22 or something with full Charisma, thats pretty low imo x(

If not, can i install a settler increase mod and still use it ?

    Thank you very much.
