    OK .... I would truly enjoy trying out this mod, except that I use my PS4 controller for my PC game - it works perfectly, (the same button functions as in-game on PS4 version) The issue at hand is simply that I cannot use a keyboard/mouse while using my controller, other than "~" for the console cmds. The remainder of keys are disabled of course. I reckon you probably do not have a workaround I could use for this WHILE using the PS4 controller.

    So it seems to me that while performing settlement build related tasks - (when a fast response to game situations is not needed because I absolutely suck AND hate using a keyboard) - I could just un-plug the PS4 controller, and use mouse/keyboard for manipulating items as your mod suggests which is really fine by me to do so. BUT in the "world" i.e. combat situations, etc., I really have to use the controller for any degree of accuracy/speed in my responses, so w/out the keyboard enabled, having fun by placing objects over NPC's heads, moving the into precarious positions that cause them to fall, get smashed, etc is not going to work for me, and that's too bad - would have really liked to try this.

    My up-close eye-sight has gone to crap and need to put on glasses to see the keyboard, but remove them to clearly see my monitor, which is a 50 inch flat screen TV, 9 feet away - this act of putting on - taking off glasses is more trouble than it's worth, and really delays response times for me.

    So you see wherein lay my problem.

      Not trying to be a smartarse, but a good pair of bi or tri-focal glasses will help you no end! I've got tri-focals, best money I ever spent. They're expensive, but worth every penny.

      That's fine for people who actually have medical insurance - I do not, nor can I afford it on my own, so anything other than store-bought reading glasses is a no-go, which sucks as I really DO need an optometrist to check my eyes!

      You ought to go get yourself a pair from the VA. They check my eyes for me every year and give me a pair of glasses.

    What a BRILLIANT tool. Thank you for creating the script and getting things put together. SIMPLE, EASY and ready to go.

    THANK YOU!!

    not sure if this is related but somehow I managed to use some hot key to display my frame rate. Can't figure out which one. LOL

    Awesome script! I don't know how I could build without it.

    I did modify it slightly and it works great for me so if anyone else out there is SUPER OCD about clipped objects having the visual conflict when two are at the same height and you find (like I did) that the "slow" setting of 1 increment is just a bit too much, I added a "very slow" that increments by .1.

    I bound it to the F9 key, so F12+F9 + (any command) will move in .1 increments. I claim no responsibility if you quickload a game by hitting F9 first! If you like some other unbound key, just replace all instances of "F9" in below with whatever you want.

    I just opened the script in notepad and replaced the "Gremlin" section with this:

    Gremlin(key, mod, axis, negpos)
    {
    SetKeyDelay, 0,40
    GetKeyState, slow, f10, "P"
    GetKeyState, fast, f11, "P"
    GetKeyState, vslow, f9, "P"
    If slow = d
    amount := 1
    else if fast = d
    amount := 50
    else if vslow = d
    amount := .1
    else
    amount := 10
    SendInput, %mod% %axis% %negpos%%amount%
    sendEvent, {enter}
    sleep, 50
    }

    Bam, simple and done.

      SOMisICEMAN - YOU ROCK! I love this mod and use it all the time. Only problem was not being able to move everything in fine increments! You solved it, brother! Now it's more like FengShui, from FO3. Thank you 100 times over!

    Firstly, thanks for taking the time to make this super handy mod!
    I've used this tool for a few years now, although I used an older version that utilized the numpad keys to move things. Have recently started playing again and updated to the current version, but I just cannot get this to work in game.
    Seems to run fine out of game, throws out the move and rotate commands in notepad, but in game all I get is wasd in the console, any idea how to fix this?

      Well thanks, but I dont really get anything from it. I just put script here since it was useful for me and stopped doing anything when stopped playing myself.

      Script is pretty basica nd anyone can understand it and copy/modify. I hope I got few people interested in autohotkey, thats a great free soft.

      Go to steam settings, then to In-Game. About half way down it should say "screenshot shortcut keys", click the little x to remove the binding and select any other key you wish to use for screenshots(if any).

      The quickest way to get to settings is right-click the steam icon in the taskbar and left-click settings.

      Enjoy!
