(Endorsed) Thank you for creating such great mod, I really enjoyed the detailed shadows. However, later I found this mod had a great impact on the performance. Whenever I enter a place with many interior plots my fps drops a lot, so I have to remove it :(
My current PC: GTX1060-6GB, intel I7-8700 (mid-end pc which is not enough to use this mod)
*For others try to use this mod: please be sure if you have a high-end computer like the author
2nd one is my Steel Scrap Yard from Industrial City
3rd is the house from Trailerpark Dreams
4th there are 2 vanilla SS houses (one a VIP) and not sure if the 3rd is vanilla SS or not.
5th is the Barracks from JTBryant's Utilties plugin.
Also, does this just add shadow effects to kinggath's lights that he seperated out in SS (so those of us that use his lights get the effect) or are you doing something else to detect lights on plots and deal with it?
Some Sim Settlement Spaces work great, but some lights seems glitchy and throw shadows oddly I have noticed. Can't wait to see what you can do to fix these. I have barely any performance drops on my 1080Ti and I love sim settlements but it looks odd next to the "true shadow" mod I am using.
Looks like this will be the 1st Sim Settlement mod that I won't be trying, at least anytime soon. Shadow mods hit my game hard, despite having a great rig.
I have heard many people say that shadow draw in Fallout 4 is badly optimized/utilized. I don't know if that is the case, but there are places in the vanilla game where I get well under 60 fps @ high settings and both my CPU/GPU loads are under %30 utilization. Boston rooftops are a prime example of where this happens, in my case. It's frustrating having a brand new $1,500 PC that gets under 30 fps in some places in a AAA title from almost 3 years ago. I just made a simple override to several lights in the simsettlements.esm.
