I began manually going through the fuz files, identifying the missed files and replacing them with one of the cassette tape tracks.
Edit: About half way done, at least a couple of dozen files replaced so far.
Edit 2: I went through the whole folder, over 1k files. Around 4 dozen or so had the original lines by Travis still mentioning songs. I replaced them with cassette sounds. There is quite abit of audio still left mentioning news/events, but if one is playing Frost they'll never hear it. I ignored the "improved" Travis audio still left for the same reason. I would be more than happy to provide the updated version if you want.
Make Preston Garvey/minutemen killable fixes most of the other problems in general. But you can't fix the main plot which seems to have been written by a 8 year old. Otherwise this mod helps a little bit.
there is a series of mods that allow you to alter the vanilla story with a new series of options. Fusion City Rising, Outcasts and Remnants, and Project Valkyrie. all are connected, each around a DLC's worth of content.
Travis is funny as f*#@, in his absolute mysery. I guess its a type of personal taste, But I cannot possibly see how anyone would not laugh at his sad ramblings on the verge of mental breakdown.
Thank you, Travis was tolerable at first but after you do a bunch of quests around the commonwealth I swear to god it feels like he's just talking for hours before starting a song like DUUUUDEEE LEMME HEAR A SONG

I will never understand why that dumbastard T. Howard didn't have ThreeDog in Fallout 4!
