This is my "main early house" for some time now. I have even a transfert settlement blueprint for it (for the basement). There is actually one slight issue : the stains that reappear shortly after being scrappel (yes, one can do that) in the basement. Not a big deal though.
Very nice! The location, the looks, the clutter (static, yay!)... I didn't even realize from the Description that you can build not only in the basement but actually in the house itself The only little thing is that the bluish night light coming from the windows doesn't really go with my darkest setting of the Darker nights but I easily took care of it by covering all the windows with those nice Far Harbor banners which are actually quite fitting, along with some other Far Harbor decorative items, for a house by the lake.
Great house, but one thing I was wondering about is that the old black and white photos and some art pieces are not present. The one by the entrance to the house and all of the ones upstairs are blank. I can scrap them, but there's nothing on them. Any idea why they don't show up, or do I have to install another mod for them to appear?
I struck gold discovering your mods, such attention to detail, really cozy and well thought out homes, and I love the fact that Codsworth will comment that it's a rare find these days for a safe place like this, and that it's a good place for me to relax, what a fantastic attention to detail! Would be even more awesome if someone can figure out how to link all of the homes with settlement supply lines, that way I can easily choose which home to stay at to craft some stuff because I love every single one of them!
Just a heads up to anyone who runs PRP and BNS - some rocks will be covering the house and the outdoor area (where PA station is) and a few trees (BNS 2.4 Trees Only) will be in the way.
To fix this, just move the Chestnut Lodge ESPbelow PRP.
My plugin load order for the mod: ... Boston Natural Surroundings.esp ... PRP.esp ... Eli_Chestnut Lodge DLC.esp ...
This also applies to Faction Housing Overhaul - AiO, it too should be loaded after PRP. Otherwise, it won't work properly (the best example I can give is the Railroad HQ - a wall would be in the place of doors, therefore not making it accessible).
