I'm losing so much frames when facing the main house from the shop section. Anyways i can get my frames back? not sure why facing that direction lowers my frames and where the pool is at facing to the house.
I am really enjoying your settlement blueprints, thank you for your hard work!
I am having an issue with legacy objects.
I have tried everything - I have all the recommended scrap and placement mods, I fire up the console and scrapall before I import a settlement of yours.
On the island - the metal shack which houses the workshop will not disappear, so it's kind of wedged in the main building on the island.
I did see an ini hack you could perform that ( [General] bUseCombinedObjects=0), however this also appears to remove key meshes and breaks some of your other blueprints, presumably if scrap all has been used.
I cannot highlight the objects with extended placement enabled and I cannot seem to even identify them in the console to mark for deletion. Do you have any idea how I could get around this?
Wish i could help but after scrapping Spectacle Island a good 100+ times ive never had that issue.Only thing i can think of and you have probably already tried is use the scrap feature from the "Place Everywhere" mod ("insert" key by default).Other then that i'd think its a mod conflict of some sort.
Can't really say why I hadn't considered a mod conflict!
I've found the culprit, it is the "Warwick Homestead a Bridge to SpectacleIsland" made by Killroyics, found here (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23275)
It's a shame as it's a nice bridge, but it created this exact issued - re-planting the workshop shack and the 2 ruined buildings which collide with your settlement blueprint. The real giveaway was the objects could not be tagged in the console - as far as the game concerned they didn't exists, but the meshes were there and collided with buildings, so yeah!
I am going to try the other bridge mods and I'll report back a working one if I find it! I'd rather have the settlement over the bridge though - fantastic work again!
Edit: I have now tried the "Spectacle Island Bridge" by mtholubar (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17315?tab=files) There are 2 options for this mod. Please note that the castle bridge DOES conflict and produces a number of original buildings to spawn in your settlement cells. The bridge to Warwick Homestead, however, works perfectly. There is another mod out there but I will favour this one as the author specifically mentions navmesh-ing the bridge as well.
I use "Warwick Homestead a Bridge to SpectacleIsland" made by Killroyics as well. When I first installed the bridge mod, I did have a ton of errors scrapping things on the island.... I manually moved Scrap All to the very bottom of my mod list, and now everything plays nicely together again.
Thanks for your work on this mod, also use Coastal and Lighthouse!
I really wish there were more detailed instructions on what to scrap and what not to scrap. About to install it for the first time and feel like I'm flying blind here.
I updated the instructions and provided links to the scrap mods needed on the main page. Did the same on my other settlements as well. Hope that helps :)
This is absolutely amazing. I am on another play-through and for fun was experimenting with many transfer settlements on all locations and when I found this one and finally figured out what to and (what not to) scrap. It was the best thing I've seen. This absolute perfection is something that deserves recognition. On next playthrough I will make this my only used settlement. Perfection!
Just below the main building on the platform with the workbenches. Not far from where it originated. I usually move it after the import and it never seemed to cause any problems.
I just use scrapall beforehand then no need to use the nuke feature. However i recently read on the Transfer Settlements page the mod author warned about using scrapall but never specified the issues with it.Im not sure what the issue is but lately i pretty much get a game crash everytime i import a settlement including this one and the only way around it is to turn off the wired connections and manually wire the place after import.
The one slight problem I can see with this build is the limited number of beds. You only have room for 20 settlers, and that number can be easily exceeded in the vanilla game or even doubled with mods. I fortunately still have Snap 'n Build and managed to make the roof area of the swimming pool livable without altering its appearance, but I lack the skill to copy your overall style.
I cant import it the transfer settlements holotape says there are no blueprints available for import and nuke settlement doesn't work either it says no workshops are nearby? what do I do?
