I know it's courteous to let people know how to obtain the armor at the start of the game (and it really isn't a hassle to disable & re-enable the mod) but the new game fix could be solved by removing the broken message screen on creating the new game and just creating a readme holotape or some shiz.
It HAS to be the message that's causing the problem because I cannot click continue or press 'E' or 'Enter' to proceed. To put it plainly, the message isn't interactable WHILE initializing the new game and practically stalls the game.
I see two ways to solve the problem: 1) Let the message pop up after leaving the character creation menu. 2) Disable the message entirely.
Either way, it isn't difficult for people to follow instructions on the mod's home page so the message has some redundance.
having an unable-to-load game issue on a new game the result is an endless load screen from the main menu, game cant make it to the intro video.but it can load from a previous save anyone have insight into this error?
Yeah! See "Bugs" section. There you can find a simple explanation and fix at the end of page 2 about that. It's working 100% and takes 10 sec. to rename 2 files. Regards!
Didn't know someone found a work around for the Pip-pad... oh boy that change does make it work again, welp time to go grab my Halo Sniper rifle & pick up a few bounties cause the next time I play Fallout 4 again I'm "Going Ghost"
If anyone sees this, the method of renaming the pip boy files stated in the bugs section works for the tactical tablet mod as well. No patch nesessary. It JUsT WoRkS
Hmm intresting, renaming the files only work for the 1st person fix. In 3rd person, after renaming the files now the default pip boy is present on my wrist. (I'm using tactical tablet)
Edit: Okay so if anyone wondering how I fix this, after renaming the file, I went to the MCM menu. In the uninstallation/installation section of the tactical tablet mod, now there's only install option. click that and the pip boy from your hand will go disappeared.
Hey, mod looks fine on an existing character, but I encountered the new game issue. I read the other comments, I know the "standard" solution right now is to enable the mod after new game has been started, but isn't there any actual fix for it? I also saw the link that someone posted before, but the patch file is gone and link is dead. Maybe someone still has it so it could be reuploaded? Also, this bug was annoying to find. A suggestion would be perhaps to warn users about it on the description page. If it cannot be played on new game, then bypassing the bug is part of the standard installation/use procedure.
I can't tell if it's compatible or not, buy have you considered adding Fusion Girl compat? When I try to build morphs for your mod with my FG presets in BodySlide studio the configs never post except for the skeleton. All the other bodyparts remain the same which indicates to me that your mod must only have support for CBBE.
I've got a bug with Barney Rook not appearing (i've had it for a while on this play through so not connected to this mod) so i can't finish the quest because i can't access his basement, gutted :(
That's unfortunate but that's what console commands are for: Open console, normally the ~ button and type 67C96.moveto player This should physically move him to you If he arrives as a corpse click on it and type resurrect
