This mod used to work fine for me in (OLD GEN) but in (NEXT GEN) the game crashes when I get shot and hit multiple times with this weapon, it didn't happen before, I guess next gen messed everything up
After installing the mod, I'm getting a weird water splash animation that is in front of my character face. Removed the mod and the splash things is gone. Any idea?
I have looked everywhere in the chem station, and other stations, and I cannot find where to make this ammo. I only found the two rounds that was on the synth leader, but cannot seem to find anymore yet. Is there a specific category they would be under? I looked under every category and cannot seem to find them.
So first off, amazing mod. I can't play a character without this and institute overhaul. I find coursers embarassing in base game so this mod makes them a real f*#@ing threat.
I need to address an unintended but hilarious side effect of this mod, most noticeable if you side with the minutemen and defend the castle from the institute. You will face wave after wave of synths with coursers thrown into the mix, sometimes in pairs. and you will be in for arguably one of the most difficult fights in the game. The poison acts fast and bypasses armor completely, and coupled with the coursers using stealth boys properly means they'll be invisible and moving constantly so you can't just spam vats, you gotta pay attention to where they are using visual clues. you'll have to constantly watch your health bar bcuz you will die in under several seconds if you aren't careful.
Also, settlers can pick up and use the V3N. And if you inflict collateral damage through grenades or launchers those same settlers will turn on you, and you'll be facing the coursers and settlers both armed with the same weapon.
Put simply it's a nightmare and I love it. I just want people to be aware of how truly dangerous and borderline OP this mod is bcuz this games gameplay loop can make you complacent and this mod is a great slap back to reality. Love the balance, love the challenge. 10/10
i nerfed the gun damage and poison dot but cant find where the explosion damage for venom comes from. it does a ton of damage on its own. i looked at the explosion attached to it in fo4edit but it says 0 damage. anyone able to point me in the right direction? or better yet, someone balance this mod??
is there a way to get X6-88 to also be able to teleport around and do the same thing the others do? or have you tried to make it work and it simply breaks the companion script?
