It does. If you have GCM this sets it's legendary settings correctly. A lot of enemies can't be legendary, and a bunch of non legendarys spawn before you're level 8 or before you install.
thanks for this information, i kept reading the comments and everyone says it doesn't work, but i also use GCM and i didn't even know about this feature lol, but now that i know i can use that mod to crank up the percentage this should work.
Got to level 8, slept for 4 days, nothing. Got to level 9, slept for 4 days, nothing. Only time it worked was the two Mirelurks during "Pull the Plug". Shame because this mod looks like tons of fun. Edit: turns out it works fine and some random mod was breaking it! Time to suffer!
I had the same problem. Installed this one instead: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7004?tab=description Slept for 5 days after installing, level 8, everything is now legendary.
If Legendary Apocalypse isn't working it's probably a conflict or load order issue; at very least, it's not the same issue that's preventing this mod from working. Most of the mods effecting legendary spawn rates (This one, Game Config Menu, and Customize Legendary Spawning at least) try to change the modifier that determines how regularly legendary enemies spawn, and for some reason this doesn't seem to work (on survival at least) following a particular update.
Legendary Apocalypse on the other hand is a brute-force mod where the author manually changed every spawn in the leveled list to be a legendary instead, so it should be unaffected by the issue preventing the rest of these from working. Make sure Legendary Apocalypse is loading after any other mods that make changes to the leveled list.
Bewarned however with Legendary apocalypse, since its from 2015, it may or may not play nice with any DLC that has been brought into game after the date
Is there a way to get this mod to stay enabled, without the use of a mod manager of some kind. Every time I start the game it is disabled. All of my other mods that I have installed manually stay enabled. This one is the only one that disables once I exit the game. I have to enable it and reload the game files every time I start up the game. I love this mod, and I wouldn't play F4 without it, yet that one aspect is really annoying.
