I've been working on a settlement location mod in the creation kit that started out as a passion project. I ended up using your mod in my build and I wanted to ask you for permission to use it in its final version when I publish it.
If you don't want me to use it theres no hard feelings and I'll remove it.
What are the chances of you coming back to this to finish the hotel set? It's one of my most used sets, and its a bit sad that the 4 different wall variants for each wall piece are only available for the straight one-side wall pieces. It'd be pretty great if you came back and made each wall piece available in all 4 interior wallpaper colors, plus all 4 metal siding colors. If you see this, and I hope you do, please and thank you in advance.
I don't want to file a bug report because obviously a lot of people are using and enjoying this mod without issue.
However...
I installed this mod onto a game in progress. I have a legal, full season pass version of FO4 with all the DLCs. I also have Snappy Housekit v9.2.2 that I was already using in my existing game without issue.
When I try to start the game with Snappy DLC03 installed, I get the "please stand by" screen and then the BGS logo screen, and then CTD, it's acting as if there's a missing master. I use MO2, and I've verified that Snappy HouseK and Far Harbor are both still active. MO2 does not show any warnings of any sort either. The Snappy DLC loads after Snappy HouseK in the load order.
Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?
PS: I know it's Snappy DLC - I tried disabling new mods one by one, and this was the culprit. Game starts fine with all of the other new mods enabled.
So with further testing I think Snappy DLC was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, and was not the actual culprit.
I think most of us know about the esm/esp plugin limit of 255.
I think less well known is the variable BA2 limit, which can be different for each player. Even though I had less than 255 esp and esm files, I did have a lot of esl flagged plugins that had their own BA2s, and at some point I just had too many. From what I've read, some players start to see a problem at around 450-460 BA2s, while some players can have over 500 BA2s and still run fine. Not sure how many I have, but it seems that I went over the limit when I tried to install this mod, but it wasn't the mods fault.
Apologies if I inadvertently threw shade at Snappy when it didn't deserve it.
Hey, is it possible to edit the build materials for the hotel build kit with the Creation Kit? I tried changing them myself, but then the hotel menu disappeared.
Absolutely adore this mod, I'm an obsessive builder. It does seem to be missing several exterior wallpaper meshes. For the corner windows, double windows and just plain corner. Also can not find the wallpaper meshes for the exterior bay windows, i've poked through the files and only found the interior meshes. I would fix it myself, but I don't have the know how to flips the meshes correctly for showing texture on the right side. Thank you though! All over, incredible mod.
Hey, I am trying to rebuild the visitors center in Far Harbor. I can't seem to find any roof tiles with a pitch that matches that of the original center. I am likely overlooking it. Could you tell me to look?
Actually, found the pitch I was looking for in the church kit. Now I have another search, I am looking for balconies to match those as found, again in the visitor center. Any help?
Hello! Trying to rebuild the lumber mill area and I'm having trouble locating the brick and the barn walls. Also some of that orange roof should have brick side pieces on it but I can't find any....would you consider updating or pointing me in the right direction if I've overlooked it please? :D
Also what is the second file for? Will that stop the roof reappearing broken while I'm trying to rebuild? Thanks heaps for all the hard work :D.
