Doesn't work anymore. Idk why. Placing this mod after scrap everything just makes the entire castle disappear. Genuinely stuck as to how to fix it. Tried mostly everything. It's a shame because this is by FAR the best castle mod that fixes the walls.
Thanks for the heads up before i even tried it. Though i will have to say the BEST castle mod for the castle was from jenncave but since the few years i took a break away from the game all of jenncaves mods was deleted. Shame too because i loved those clean and simple settlement mods.
Hello, the author prolly won't respond to this anymore but I am not surprised it has less downloads than other mods had. It has the biggest potential and is visually more appealing but your invisible walls are annoying as hell, I am not sure how you weren't able to bring out one version out of the dozen files you have that doesn't have some annoying bug other mods don't have.
Hello everyone, I have used this mod in all my passed playthroughs and it has always worked. Does anyone know what is causing this? The only thing that comes to mind is my landscape mod but I have used both my landscape mod and this castle mod together and never had this issue. I've checked my load order and everything seems fine. I can try putting this mod even lower than what it already is on Vortex but idk how to force it even lower. Any ideas from anyone will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Finally, a Castle restoration that works! I've tried 4-5 different ones and they all break precombines EXCEPT this one. Works with all my vanilla settlement overhauls (content by Greekrage and Femshepping), everything else made vanilla bleedthrough in my other settlement mods. Bottom of load order below any other cell edits and it just works. So glad I finally found something functional, thanks so much! I was about to settle for a rubble remover lol.
TO ANYONE WHO CAN'T GET THE MOD TO WORK: Place this mod LAST in your load order (Even after Scrap Everything!).
That seems to be the only way to make it work. I don't know why that's the case, but Scrap Everything still works perfectly with it. Just make sure it's always the very last mod loaded and it will function as it should.
Do any castle blueprints work with this mod? I am using Transfer Settlements and was just wondering if any are compatible with this mod and won't clip in the restored walls.

If the items were exported in a space where they would be in the wall, then when you import them they will be in a wall.
So, if a blueprint has an object in that space it will be in the wall.
This is just how the transfer works.
