I got CTDs too when I encountered a female high rank Gunner wears medium combat armor set with the Gunner suit but nothing else and shooting her just crash my game, I check the Buffout 4's crash log and seems related to the medium combat armor right arm mesh so I use console command to killed her and loot her right arm and then shoot her, no more crash...since I have no idea why it happens...I just mess around and still have no clue.
Then I decided try to install the old 1.0 version(was downloaded the latest 1.1 release when I found this mod on 2018)...and for some reasons it works for me, no more crashes when shooting the gunner, I'm not sure if my problem was caused by something else related decals in my modding setup(maybe caused by other mods)...I may just use that 1.0 version and see if I will or will not encountering any other CTD problems later. (I use CBBE reduced, not sure if related or not)
EDIT: Nevermind, it actually a bad idea since the old CTD bug in 1.0 does more easily to happens...well I just decided to install latest 1.1 and stick with it. :(
Can confirm mod causes a CTD. Damage dealt to a private gunner whilst wearing combat armor pauldrons, caused a CTD. Would advise against using until a patch has been made.
Hi, I don't Know if you're still open to proposition but I wondered if you could consider to do the following thing: add your pauldrons to the level 1 combat armor arms, it would look like in the opening cinematic when there is a group of soldiers and a power armor. Thanks for your mod anyways.
i love this mod. But i had a problem, i downloaded manually and the medium right arm is broken there. Was named wrong and after i renamed it it looks like the old version not your version.
Oh and it works perfect with CBBE i uploaded some screenshots from my char
The mesh is named "Arm_R" because someone in Bethesda Art Team goofed, and the guy charged with implementing the mesh didn't bother fixing it. When you renamed the files, the game looked for "Arm_R", didn't find the mesh in the loose files, and defaulted to the vanilla mesh. To fix it, you just need to give it it's original name.
In short : Don't rename meshes if you don't know why they are named a certain way.
Edit : Also, please refrain from uploading Skimpy Pictures. I can't publish those, Because I don't want to risk my mod being adult only. Sorry
Im going to track this for now, but want to ask I know these are shoulder gear and a replacement, but are they a separate piece of armor that can be upgraded or are they attached to chest pieces ?? and ber upgraded with the chest piece at the same time ?

If the crashing persist, it might be on your side.
Because the "hunchback" of the Female one is already small.
I could try making the Male one the same size I guess.
