Do you think you could do the same for ferals? I feel like they switched places in fallout 4 where the ferals look more fleshy and normal ones look more skeletal
I love these textures but I really wish I could get the back of the head to match. I know it's a tall order to expect the entire body/hands textures to match but the back of the head transition is a little jarring. I've also got a list of about 66 npc face textures that could be replaced with these head textures. I sent you a pm regarding how to replace npcs, and I can give you the list of the files I have isolated as npc ghouls if you'd like.
I wanted to replace the unique ghouls but i can't find out how to replace their face textures, i looked through all the texture archives and i looked at the chars in creation kit and i can't figure out how to replace them but i definitely will once i find out how.
And about cbbe i'm not really sure because i dont use it but it should work if you install it over cbbe
well this only replaces the head texture so unless your sporting around with some naked ghouls i doubt you'll notice any odd clipping with the head/body texture while using cbbe
Also DWooT i just messaged flowerguy on the iCompanion mod. if he responds with a way to change them i'll update the mod
When I installed, it was asking to overwrite several texture files installed by CBBE (eg hands and feet). I just said no, and only installed the face textures. I haven't seen any ghouls yet since installing though, so I'm not sure if it's going to result in any bugs or not.
@TrenchCoatMafia: I am in the process of setting up support for male characters using iCompanion. This includes a large update/upgrade to hairstyles and a minor update to eyes. It does not include custom male assets, but will include default EVB bodies/textures. Except for Hancock, whom I will update to default to these textures given A) Your Consent, and B) Compatibility of these textures with EVB which I will be checking for momentarily.
@RedDog6911: In response to your question, the iCompanion Framework is designed to allow for customization of unique female characters. You still have to use the Creation Kit to do it, but if you're looking to give a bunch of unique non-companion NPCs a different, but similar look, you could readily do so following the instructions (which I should probably create a detailed article on) for one of the Custom Slots. That is not the designated purpose of the mod, but it would work. Though it would still require the iCompanion ESM to function.
Also, iCompanion uses CBBE for female characters and the mod page includes loose CBBE ghoul textures.
That said, @TrenchCoatMafia, I apologize for hijacking your thread (and the plug, though it was particularly on-point), even if momentarily.
interesting :3 this gives the ghouls a nice variation to have. but i would say that the fallout 4 ghoul head shape is helping it the most. I kinda didn't like the ghoul look in fallout new vegas at all <.< lol
that is really the default texture to blame x3 the idea they had has been transferred to fallout 4 by you, and very nicely so. but the texture difference between the two games is obvious, in favor of fallout 4
well, that's just me, that really only started playing bethesda games from skyrim and fallout 4 x3 so.. don't mind me
