As others have mentioned the Double Barrel issue is present. It was very easy to fix. It can be done in either CK or Fo4 Edit. I did it in Fo4 Edit but some people seem to have issues opening it or editing it there. In that case just use CK. It's the same level of simplicity with a bit slower loading.
For CK: 1. Find the Omod: XXXmod_TrinityShotgun_Receiver_MoreDamage3 2. Remove keyword: ma_DoubleBarrelShotgun 3. Add Keyword: ma_TrinityShotgun
About: xEdit I suspect what some people have done wrong is not include the ID when switching the ID in Fo4Edit. It will tell you the change is invalid without it: ma_TrinityShotgun [KYWD:01000FD5]
As for why it doesn't open for some people, that's another mystery entirely.
I hope this clarifies it for some people and opens the options. It's a very simple fixed and tbh I'm surprised OP hasn't done it.
Silencer on an in-your-face sawn off double barrel? That is a thing - Mate? Why do you need a silencer when your enemies are in the same room as you are?
Be nice to each other. Mates. With that said, yeah silencers for some shotties is indeed a thing, but on this one it wouldn't make much of a point.. I mean, you are standing very close to the person you wanna blast, in order to actually have a lethal effect and not just annoy the person.. Unless ofc you are using the hundreds of grenade pellets blowing up the entire room, in wich case I am pretty sure the entire neighborhood knows in wich general direction you are anyways.
So yeah.. Silencer probably wouldn't make alot of sense on this gun.. Mates..
The mod's great but it messes up the in game double barrel shotgun specifically one of its gun mods. If you have this mod installed, your normal vanilla double barrel shotgun on the weapon's workbench will show up with the advanced receiver of this trinity shotgun which looks weird as its too large for the double barrel model. Apparently this is due to a mistake in a keyword in the object modification when I checked in FO4edit. Its just a matter of replacing that wrong keyword but for some reason it won't let me edit this mod's esp file in FO4edit. This bug has been bought up in the bugs section but there's been no update in the file...
So is this a dead/broken mod? I just DLed it, but there is definitely no weapon box with the gun in it beside the podium in the church. Is there an ID for it floating around anywhere so it can be added via console?
Just open console, type "help trinity 4", just like any other item too. You have the name, just need to search for it. ID is different for everyone as it depends on load order.

- Open FO4Edit thru MO2 (Or w/e mod manager you're using)
- Right-Click, then "Select NONE", then select "Trinity Shotgun by NewerMind43 & Captain-Ultima.esp"
- After it's done loading, select the same items as in the pic below: (it should be the same)
- The highlighted Value on the right for "Keyword #0" is what needs changing.
- Double click on it and a Warning Prompt should appear. wait for the countdown then select "Yes, I'm Absolutely Sure".
- Select "ma_TrinityShotgun [KYWD:xxxxxxxxxx]" from the dropdown list like in the following Image:
- Exit & Save when prompted.
- DONE...
