    Hi! Got a little free time so here's a kind of rework of UsefulCrank.

    It now requires F4SE, this should make the mod compatible with any Overhaul (and I mean any, Laser Musket Overhaul, Horizon, Equilibrium, etc.) and any modification, 6 cranks, 12 cranks, 42 cranks, 999.999 cranks, and its automatic versions.

    The "Never Ending" legendary can't spawn on the Laser Musket by normal means, and you shouldn't add that legendary to the Musket anyway because it spends all your ammo in a single shot, therefore is not supported.

    As for load order, you can place it anywhere.

    If you are installing and starting a new game, everything should be fine.

    If you are updating or installing on an existing save that didn't have the mod, your muskets will still ask for fusion cells, make any modification (change scope, receiver, stock, anything) in the weapons workbench to update the ammo requirement

    I'm still testing it, hence the "beta" label, but it should be safe.

    This was working fine the first time I loaded the game after installing the mod. Worked the whole play session. But when I quit the game and came back to it later it stopped working. I didn't do anything to the game between play sessions. I've tried reinstalling the mod, changing my load order, everything, I can't get the mod to work again.

      just load the game twice and it work again

    It's a great mod. Even bug with musket use cells after re-entering game dont make it less immersive because laser musket looks likee it wouldn't work without troubles and disappereance of this bugs after modifying musket looks like you've just fixed it.
  4. everytime i load in it requires me to re modify the musket to use cranking as ammo again?

      It's super annoying!! You either have to enter a new area or tinker with the musket at a work bench to reset it...every single time...

    For those who also use Post-Apocalyptic Homemade Weapons this mod won't work, you might'll need this to make both play nice with each other, doesn't work with this mod's version 2.0 beta 4, works fine with version 1.5.

    I just started up a new game, because I updated some mods and installed a couple new ones (including this one). I was looking forward to using it, but the Laser Musket I got at the Museum of Freedom still uses Energy Cells. I feel like I might have done something wrong. I have no idea what the "Make sure to extract the Data folder as well" instruction is supposed to mean, as I am under the current understanding that MO2 does everything for me.

    11/4/2023 Update:
    I tried to install the version that didn't require F4SE, and it works like a charm! MO2 doesn't make a fuss about it being outta date, and it works as advertised! I had one moment where I was able to charge it further than the 2-crank and got the same power shot, but that's a minor thing.

    So I'm having the issue of NPCs not reloading the laser musket.  Is this related to my load order?

    Would it work with BlaineMobius' Laser Musket 2.0 right out of the gate or would we need a patch for it?
