If you guys have a problem with Strong can't go through the door because his height, just selects him on console command then type setscale 0.97, it should be enough for him go through tight doors
Mr69: *bored because quarantine* Mr69: Hmmm... Ugh... I got enough time to mod the crap out of Fallout if I wanted to... *stretches and cracks knuckles* Frick it, let's do this! Mr69: *realizes your required to sign-in to download a mod* What... That wasn't a thing before... but ok... It works for all npcs, even the player if you look down at your feet when you open the console and click on them. Don't do it to yourself, will affect what you can see with terminals and cause problems. But click on any pc, set height to whatever you want.
Set females a little shorter, anywhere between 0.90 and 0.99 mostly. Create teen sized males and females from 0.89 down to around 0.82. Create little people at 0.50. Go crazy.
They will mostly maintain the new heights. But their height will change back to 100% while doing animations and I've seen some not return to the height you gave them after an animation.
Kinda sad that since what this mod is doing is simply set the scale (height) to 1.1 for each individual NPC record, using the console to scale down these poor muties would be defeating the purpose of this mod in the first place... (._.)
That's not exactly lore friendly because those mutants were created from a different strain of FEV so they aren't neccessarily supposed to be as big as their V87 and Mariposa cousins.
To put it bluntly he is right. There being "Described" as 8-10 feet tall is also an in game exaggeration like how they are "Green" despite being more of a sickly yellow. No one is asking you to remove the mod or anything just ditch the lore bit. Also the vanilla model is already a bit over 7'5. If you really want to make "Lore friendly" super mutant heights try making it so they are not all the exact same height not fixating on a set height exaggerated by wastelanders.
Damn would be awesome if you could make a patch for DC and West Coast Super mutants https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/49680 This, DC & WC Super mutants plus this replacer will be the ultimate combo https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/56565
I think so, at least in my game. I havent seen it on strong in particular but the random spawns have trouble getting through the doorways of their hideouts. but if you look around here in the comment section the majority seems to be good.
A guy further up this thread said that all you need to do is just selects him on console command then type *setscale 0.97*, it should be enough for him go through tight doors.

Does that permanently change an npc's height? I'd love to make Cait taller than myself.

I love when modders like yourself take the time to make the world feel authentic to the lore.
