- Version 1.02b fixes some of the more important bugs. See changelog for details. Recommend deleting and reinstalling on a clean save. - The difficulty level and amount of rockets, explosions and fog is intentional. - Enemies spawn based on invisible trigger boxes. So if you run through fast you will encounter more enemies. The easiest/most glitch-free method is to clear each area before moving forward, as they will follow you through doors (including the vertibird). - The mod is not lore-friendly in any deeper sense. Just a fun challenge to mix things up, and a way for me to learn questing and scripting in a safe environment.
I was level 101 when i started this mod, i straight up encountered enemies with level up to 121 on a regular base, let alone a behemoth with level 300. Is this a joke or some bug? Even with the no scaling mod, it doesn't change anything for the better. OP enemies who nearly 1 shot you despite wearing Power Armor....
This mod deserves nothing but praise. It is indeed short and there is not much of a story. Oh, yes, and the loot sucks if you don't care about power armor. But it is nevertheless amazing. You will be dropped in radiation soaked Manhattan. The place is masterfully presented as full-scale battleground. There will be gunners shooting at you from all directions and explosions as you run. The non-stop rad storms only add to the confusion of the raging battle. For those who complain about radiation: there will be a doc in your team at all times who can cure it. I had no issue on to finish it in a few hours on survival with additionally increased difficulty. My only cheat was I turned on quick saves.
At the end the tag was stuck on the computer.Didn't anywhere to plant the explosives and I looked behind and through every building for a dufle bag. At least I still got the awards.
It is a combat slog with zero story. If that's your thing, you will probably like it. I found it incredibly tedious and eventually resorted to setting my difficulty to Very Easy just to get it over with.
Nevertheless, I endorsed because the physical layout is well designed, it's well put-together and was (for me) bug-free.
It's super short but a lot of fun, especially if you bring some of your brothers like Danse, Ash, and Gabriel (from Outcasts and Remnants) using LIMA or some other multi-companion mod. The Gunner Primes go down WAAAAAY too easy (I mean like 5-10 shots with a gatling laser easy) and the unique armor is hard to find even with the hints ingame the mod's author gives you. But barring all of that... it was awesome to go on a homicidal killing spree with my BoS brothers one last time.
The only real problem I had was the 4 vertibirds at the end that you had to kill, they simply would not die. I had to use console commands to kill them and even then they didn't go down easy.
But disregarding all that, it was a lot of fun for a 1-2 hr mod. 7/10 and that's being a bit generous considering I am a massive BoS fan. Ad Victoriam.
P.S. Bring mats to repair your power armor... you will need them.
Where are the T-51 Gunner power armor pieces in the mod (Not the ones in the cheat room crate?)
I found two pieces on a frame as you come just inside the gunner bunker. After that, I didn't see the rest of the pieces but I saw terminal that said they had been stolen.
