I'd like to request a +25 strength version for my heavily modded Xbox game. I have rebalance mods that add extreme high level enemies and I'm looking for power armor tank play.

    Btw, excellent mod. Thanx!

Does your mod affect npc strength in power armor..?

As far as I know, none of the mods I use affect "EnchPA_Abilities "Power Armor" [ENCH:0003E579]", but the leveled strength boost and the set +10 do not work for me at all. I used Vortex NMM for my downloads and it also does not detect any conflicting mods on my list for this mod. However, I think it might be because I am using a few PA mods that add new models and items for PA. Only reason I can think of as to why this mod isn't working for me.

I would either one suggest you load this mod towards the bottom so it overwrites the other mods. Or use FO4Edit and look at what's conflicting with my mod and make a new .esp to merge the mods.
If you continue to have issues let me know.

The mod probably isn't being supported any more, but I want to mention that while the strength increase is being noted in the SPECIALS chart, is making zero difference to my carry weight.  I do not believe that is the original intent.  Also, it prevents you from doing the concord quest as scripted at low levels unless Strength is your primary stat.  Which is what's intended.   I have no idea what changed, but all of a sudden this started to work.  I started a completely clean build with a total restart of mods.  Unfortunately, that means I have no idea what the conflict was.  Sorry.

I mean you're not entirely wrong. I haven't worked on this mod in a very long while but honestly there isn't much more I can do for it. Idk why you're having an issue with strength not adding any weight because I haven't messed with those values at all. As for the quest you actually don't have to pick up the mini gun to continue. Simply walk past and the quest will continue as before.

It's cute but now the power armor does NOT have the str to get the mini gun.......oops.

I came here to post about this exact problem actually as well. Since I usually play low STR high INT characters, the STR bonus provided by the Power Armor at low levels isn't high enough to pick up the mini gun. So the initial STR bonus for low levels needs to be increased.

Thats actualy why I made it that way. Because getting a mini gun at the start of the game seemed a bit to over powering. The same as having a large strength boost at the get go. But was upset that it limited you at 11 later on in the game if you had a lot of strength. Hope you under stand my reasoning.

Your reasoning makes sense, but you have to get the minigun to continue the quest in concord.

Just did it last night and you don't have to get the mini gun. Just start killing the raiders. They don't wait for you to pull the mini gun.

The reason the mini gun is available there is for the deathclaw. And you do have to use almost all of its ammo. It's like the power armor itself. Able to get it early, but can only protect so much, and usually damaged that can't be repaired, until later in the game.

    Cool mod great work :)
Can I use unlimited special with this one? (It makes max str to be 99 wo power armor)
So I could have 109 str in power armor?

Works great. My build nets me a whopping 16 str between some mildly exploity stuff, and some really nice legendary armor. So when I'd hop in power armor I would be instantly over-encumbered since it would drop my str to 11, and cut off my deep pockets. 11 is my base STR, since maxed out STR and the "I'm SPECIAL" book. Will be 12 once I bother tracking down the STR bobble head. This took power armor from a huge detriment on my melee built to an actual positive. With calibrated shocks I can now actually carry more in power armor than outside of it.... as it SHOULD be. Great little mod, probably on my list of "must haves" now.

anyway to just get rid of the cap all together so it would never stop you from going 11+ i can normally get my player way above that threw his perk level and chems. among other things...

Are you asking for something that lets you add more Strength through perks?

I posted a bug about my strength buff disappearing when i hit certain levels like 14 and 19.
I hope hitting level 35+ wont matter since that will be the max and no way for it to disable on me.

What if you reduced the power armor strength down to say, six? I just think letting standard strength stack makes PA a little too powerful for low strength characters. With the strength gain so high, it makes strength unimportant, since everyone wearing PA is always stronger than someone without. I think it would be cool for roleplaying and gameplay to still have some reason to train strength. That way, you could be stronger than someone in PA if they were particularly weak, but still have the benefit of additional strength if you're strong enough for it.

I just don't want my sneaky beaky character being able to magically become a beast just because she puts on PA xD

So I took your idea into consideration and I added a few more different options. I also want to add a more balanced version as you can see in the description.

      EDIT:
So I added a Leveled Version as well.
